do you know/cover calibration? Is it just checking for MAX and minimums or maybe half way pts too? Maybe you can ask game player to set the walk/run calibration? So its not linear translation. And what controller it belongs to. PS those arcade joystick projects look cool.

I primarily go through the Elegoo Lesson provided in the tutorial. But I imagine that if you capture the min, max, and rest positions for both the x and y axis a few times and then average them, you'd get fairly good values for calibration.

i know its a 2 year old video but im really hoping you read this, i cant find or dont know where to look for the wiring diagram you mentioned would be in the links below, can you please help me out by telling me where to find that exactly? thanks in advance.

Is That one of the pushclick xbox or ps4 replacement sticks? If you have to desolder one of those the PCB self destructs with perforated square pads that are designed to lift off if repairs are attempted. Crapitalism.

Not sure if the joystick module is the same part as Xbox or PS4. The module is just included with the Elegoo kit. It's too bad Xbox and PS don't allow users to repair their joysticks.
