Hello Abdi. A population of 500 is hypothetical in my lesson so that I'm able to explain how to determine the random numbers. So if my population is 500, i will draw my sample of 217 from number 1-500. That is why my maximum is 500. If not clear, feel free to ask again

Dr well understood but there's a contradiction information under strengths and limitations point 2 and 5 respectively .This SRS lack of bias then Limitation sample selection bias. Kindly justify for me this two statements

Hello Godwin. The issue of bias in probability sampling is both a strength and a weakness if the researcher is not careful during the selection. The fact that each member of the population is given an equal chance of being selected means the design is bias free. However, if for instance the sample ends up with subjects who have similar characteristics (eg. majority have high IQ, or high academic levels), then bias comes in
