I am sure its will work! If the problem is asking about arranging or ordering things, then it's likely a permutation. Key phrase indicators: "arrange," "order," "sequence," "in how many different ways." Example: "In how many different ways can you arrange 3 books on a shelf?" (The order of the books matters, so it's a permutation problem.) ---- If the problem is asking about selecting or choosing things, and order doesn't matter, it's a combination. Key phrase indicators: "choose," "select," "pick," "how many ways to choose," "group of." Example: "In how many ways can you select 2 books from a set of 5?" (Here, the order of the books doesn't matter, just the selection, so it's a combination problem.)
