From previous lesson 6.6, after loading the cost all original duration became zero. Can you explain why this happened and how to fix it? thanks

Did you get the answer to this question? I am facing the same problem.

1. Define the Cost resource as Material with unit of measurement $, and setting Standard Rate = 1.00/$. Keep "Default units/time" = 0/d. 2. Uncheck "Auto Compute Actuals" and "Compute Costs from units". 3. Assign Cost resource to all required activities. 4. Through Global Change tool, change the value of "Budget Material Units" under Cost Resource to 1. 5. Import Cost from excel file or directly input values into the "Budget Cost" parameter. Now when you will run the Scheduler or "Recalculate Assignment Costs", it will not effect your schedule or the Budgeted Total Cost.
