Great Job Dave. Its nice to see someone that knows what they are doing. If your ever in Buffalo, chicken wings are on me!

The Beau Brummels were an underrated group. Ron Elliott had some great songs and Sal Valentino was a good singer. Great to see another Brummels fan up here.

70s is probably the best musical decade, but i love all kinds of 60s stuff and listen to it a lot. Plus i used to be in a 60s cover band.

I was about 15 when this song came out. Every week of radio (still very much mono AM then) offered some excellent tunes by all these news bands. Beau Brummels, the Young Rascals, Lovin Spoonful, Love competed with the British Invasion bands ... Them, Zombies, Searchers, Dave Clark Five. Tons of others. Grand time for a huge variety of popular music. Thanks for focusing in on this tune ... cool chords Dave.

G# Maj 7 !! That was the chord I was missing! Thanks again Dave. I like to walk the bass on the chorus. "You don't learn everything there is to know in school."

Joe Rockhead would be proud of you. Great job! I was looking all over for an accurate version of it to play.

Great lesson as always Dave man there are some great bands from the 60s but as the 70s role in things get a Rockin 😊👍👍👍

I have their first album on vinyl; it's pretty beat up, but I used to really like the band, even though they were faking being English. Never watched the Flintstones, so wasn't aware of a connection.

Wow, a guitar teacher that shares my view on the blues. To my it's the same 💩 over and over. Not that there's not some great blues songs.

Absolutely love this song. Can you tell me what key the harmonica was in this song please?
@DavesGuitarChannel Жыл бұрын
I believe it's a B harmonica, you play 5 blow, 5 draw, 7 draw, 6 draw.

Nice video. Low agility/ability players such as I, prefer a capo.

All good but suggest you Capo IV. Much easier to play.
