Man oh man...what a gorgeous progression of chords. There is musical magic & perfection in certain songs...and this is one of them. Thanks a ton for this lesson.

Hey Dave. I’m a new subscriber and I love your taste in music. I’m just a wannabe guitar player that got stared on Beatles in 1964. I’ve been hackin on guitars for 56 years and I still love it. You bring back some of the songs I love so much and make them easy to play. Please keep them coming. We old timers need it for therapy. You are also one awesome player. Thanks again for your love of music that reaches so many of us. Jerry D

I have to say I don't know what the songtitle means. Can anyone explain?

I think it just means he wants her now, because he is so in love with her, cannot wait another minute.

@@DavesGuitarChannel Ok, thanks. So, in a sense, Love is like a separate force, or maybe a feeling. I'm not sure why the concept was unfamiliar when most songs are about love.

Wow I never knew Major Harris was in the Delfonics and sang Hey Love. That blew me away. You're awesome. Thank you!

Wilbert Hart, the lead singer William's younger brother, sang lead on Hey Love, but Major Harris replaced Randy Cain by this time so he could form Blue Magic, so Major Harris is one of the background singers with lead singer William Hart.
