Lesson on Child Find - Components of Special Education

In our previous lesson, we gave light to the situation of special education in the Philippines. The fact that there are still many children and youth with special needs who are not able to go to school is very alarming. Thus, there is a great need to strengthen the first component of special needs education. This lesson will give details to CHILD-FIND, and at the end of this lesson, you are expected to describe the child-find system, determine ways of conducting child-find, and differentiate referral from prereferral intervention.
