I am Vietnamese Australian. I find Cham culture so interesting. I would love to understand the Shaivism practiced in Vietnam by the ancient chams, and to understand the temples, and the literature. I am a Vaishnava Hindu so I find all this super interesting. I'm less interested in the Confucian/Chinese Buddhist/Guan Yin/Marxist aspect of Vietnamese culture, and more interested in the Khmer, Cham and Hindu aspects of Vietnam which is pretty much completely understudied and underresearched.

I am from South India And the Vo Canh stele Pallava Grantha inscription hails from the early Cham territory of Kauthara, and establishes the great grandson of a local Hindu king of the Pandyan dynasty, called Sri Mara. He is identified with both Champa founder Khu Liên and Fan Shih-man of Funan. Khu Liên. Sri Mara (Tamil: திருமாறன், Thai: ศรีมาระ fl. 137 or 192 AD) was the founder of the kingdom of Champa. He is known in Chinese records as Qū Lián (區連), or Zhulian, which in Vietnamese pronunciation is Khu Liên (also 區連). Champa dynasty was ruled by south indian pandya dynasty king Bhadravarman I or Phạm Hồ Đạt of pandya dynasty . Who was Born in Kandapurpura or Kanchipuram , Tamil Nadu , India . He is the first Champa king to have varman suffixed to his name. Also known as ruler of modern day Vietnam ( You can see so many hindu temple in Vietnam or champa dynasty . List Hindu temple 1️⃣ Po Nagar Tower : Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha 2️⃣ My Son Sanctuary : - Hanoi Vietnam Dedicated to Lord Shiva and other gods as well 3️⃣ Poshainu Cham Towers, Mui Ne : -near the Phan Thiet City, and these towers were built in the honor of Lord Shiva 4️⃣ Sri Thenday Yuttha Panin Temple : - Dedicated to hindu God of wealth Kuberan 5️⃣ Thap Doi Twin Towers : - these towers were built in the honor of Lord Shiva 6️⃣ Nhan Tower : - This tower falls under the creation of Cham people and this place is for worshipping the Hindu gods and goddesses. This place was built in the 11th century and is a popular place to visit.

I can give u idea: contact internet marketing /promotion companies in India, explain your goal to them, and spread awareness to India and followed by world. It's world of knowledge and need to be spread, for spreading Internet is best medium. 🙏☺️

situation in Champa probably borne out of necessity. Under tremendous stress from wars and repression from the dominant culture, only the most fundamental rituals get transmitted through the ages while the meaning is lost. If the pandits of old insisted on full training of every disciple, would we even see traces of Sanatana Dharma today? Unfortunately this survival mechanism means the Cham are deprived of the deeper spiritual teachings and may be driven to other faiths to find it.

Di Bali selama ini veda masih terpinggirkan, seolah olah adat yang tertinggi. Agar Hindu makin kuat adalah dengan mengutamakan veda serta mempelajari dan melaksanakan ajarannya, contoh ahimsa (tidak mencederai segala mahluk, melukai apalagi membunuh), hal ini akan menguatkan Hindu (sanatana dharma) di jaman kemajuan dunia seperti sekarang. Cham Hindus are mistaken as Theravada Buddhists. Chams Muslims are not from the Sunni Branch, they are from the Ibadi/Ismaili branch, which was on good terms with the Hindus. (Sunnis are not Ibadis and also not Shiites)
