Being that I'm a Texan, it's doubtful I'll ever do LeJog but I'm looking forward to the follow-up "one of these, two of these,... " video. Should translate at least somewhat to other adventures.

CO2 is only necessary if your tyre bead pops off the rim and you want/need to stay tubeless. It does however, drift out of the tyre faster than air and degrades (freezes?) sealant (at least my Stan's) if you leave it in there over a period of time. Off-road and tubeless, I take both.

In defence of the heart rate monitor, I once used it so it would beep if my HR reached some very high level, as an excuse to get off and walk in the Lake District rather than have a heart attack

When I heard KMC and a wrapper came out, I thought, well that'll provide all the iron he needs. I've gone the opposite direction with pumps and use a Bontrager mini pump with Co2 port. Just enough air in the tube to give it shape, then get it to 40 psi and check alignment on the rim. Then let it have it with the Co2. I actually watched the video in Chinese to learn how to use the adapter! Bontrager instructions poor. Really slick design and very effective. Solo self supported you definitely need some kind of lock and an ugly bike. The supported ride must be easier but in that terrain I don't know how I'd cope without it for 9 days. Really well done with choices that made sense. No Tubolito for me though.

On a Whahoo you can press a button to switch pages, so between route and heart rate for example. But more importantly, why does anyone need a digital tyre pressure gauge? Or Kendal Mint Cake? Or have both knee and leg warmers? These questions need to be answered

So, essentially, the weather turned out better than expected, so you didn't need the warm, and rainproof clothing?

I have begun having nightmares of doing this same ride and I don’t even live in UK. That is the brain damage this obsession has caused others across the pond. Other than that, a great video as always.
