Shane Warne said in an interview that he had no regrets. Now that is how to live a life. Make it fun, make it kind, make it meaningful, basically just live each moment with a smile for that's all we have. He blazed like a firework on the cricket pitch, bowling Mike Getting out in 1993 at old Trafford with the ball of the century will never be forgotten, neither will his smile, bright blonde hair and crazy wild sense of humour. His death is heartbreaking but in a way it's Shane Warne all over. Quick, shocking, and no real warning, leaving everyone in disbelief. Just the way he lived. RIP Shane Warne. I have no family, no job, live alone without an emergency contact, and no savings, mainly due to the pandemic but also because the US has no national health service. Only people with money discount it and talk of gratitude and platitudes. I went to 2 more cardiologists and 2 Echos and a TE later was told I didn't need the surgery for now. Money doesn't buy happiness but it absolutely does make a difference between life and death and the quality of care. Medical expense is the number one cause of bankruptcy for most in the US.

Thank you for this video and my condolences to Shanes family and friends. 😔 I learned some of this lesson as a young kid @ age 8. When I stayed at Childrens and had heart surgery on my Aorta. Of course as the stats go, not all made it. Though most of us did leave icu pretty fast. Kids bounce man. Anyway, I got really down REALLY bummed for a couple days and was not being helpful to nurses. But, my mom did something special that I will never forget. When that truth was sad to me, and everyone else, and I did not know how to begin to process it in my lil head, she showed me the babies. And for the first time, I saw the circle of life in the little bassinets. They were so fragile but had already fought for months just to come into this world. I am lucky enough to still carry defects into my early thirties while living, but that time for more surgerys will come. When my close friends or family get sad themselves or feel that I am living in that truth and that I should bypass the knowledge all together because then it would be more positive 🤔 … I try to explain how learning this fragility of life and the value of life at a young age taught me the best of life’s lessons. I would not want to throw out the truth ever. It showed me that it is not about going to work and always fulfilling each obligation (although you need the money and satisfaction of a job completed to live) But it is more about why you woke up and what you want and who you are working for in the first place. Life is most about the nice things that you do that leaves a place inside people. Thank you for saying this as honest as possible from a doctors perspective. Seriously thanks, Because, when it comes from you or your colleagues it sets in with people’s minds with you all having the education and first hand experience behind it. Therefore, it helps anyone who has lost someone and all the many of those who are fighting heart issues young and old. God Bless. May your soul continue to be mended.

I think all of us you have watched Shane playing and have been passionately involved into the game of cricket and who know Shane or any of the players like him so well that it feels that we have kind of shared those moments of life when they have played , sort of together . We have known their successes and their failures and so it is a bond with them . Such was our relationship with Shane . His death has indeed gripped us all into deep sadness , specially specially… the manner in which he has left us … It has been heart breaking and inconsolable . But why have your not emphasized on the probable causes , probable causes I emphasize that led to this . I happen to be a Doctor too , an anaesthesiologist , and to my information he had resorted to strict dieting ! , which I always discourage. While one should be determined to lose weight but not suddenly . It should rather be consisted effort but over a period of time , instead of going for an acute desperate loss of weight . Also in recent times , since past 1-2 yrs I have heard of many such sudden deaths on account of Cardiac arrest and all of them were severe Jim goers and doers of heart work outs . I have been wondering if these strenuous physical excercises are leading to hypertrophic cardiac muscles and which are leading to obstruct to the outflow of blood and also less volume of the chambers , compression of blood vessels by the increased muscle mass so less blood flow to heart during diastole , so in conditions of sudden increase in the oxygen requirements can lead to imbalance in supply and demand of oxygen and hence , ischemia and infarction ? Please throw light on my reasoning and let me know if I am thinking on the right lines . I have always been a critic of TOO MUCH of anything , actually My experience of life that I would want to share with you and everybody who gets to read my message is that all that life is about is “ Balance “ , NOT TOO MUCH OR TOO LESS OF ANYTHING . Thank you for the wonderful obituary . Let us all pledge to focus more on the quality of life . May Shane Warne’s Soul RIP .

Quality of life above length of life for sure. Good diet and exercise key to ensure a lengthy quality of life. As a "youngster " of 67 (in 2 weeks' time), I am thankful for a mobile, pain free body, and do my part to keep it that way.

Thanks Sanjay, wonderful practical sensible advice as always and delivered with great depth of feeling! I wish more people would think of the quantity rather than the quality of life though, in the quest to live longer they make themselves anxious and miserable!

Watching this now, even 3 weeks after Warnie's death, makes the tears well up. Warnie lived every day like it was his last. It has made me realise I need to be more like that with my own life. Huge condolences to his family especially his children and friends and thank you to the doctor for this video because it has made me think about his words and how I can put them to good use.

Thank you Dr Gupta. Heathy, or managing chronic conditions, we cannot know what tomorrow brings. This is the mystery of life, and it is a beautiful gift, as it offers the opportunity to live each day abundantly. This is the perfect message for me today.

I nearly died two years ago from a ‘widomaker’ . And another H.A a few days later . In fact doctors were surprise that I was still alive . I did everything right. I don’t drink I don’t smoke, eat healthily.etc etc . And I’m a calm person. . I did much more than my much older siblings and it still happened to me . It’s genetics and bad luck ! Lol! They have the same genes as me and they are fine. I.think you should enjoy your life as much as possible . Don’t put things off for tomorrow as tomorrow is not guaranteed. It’ sounds like the usual rubbish but it’s true imo! Of course life is not a ‘bed of roses’ and there is a lot of stress and the daily life is not exciting and can be challenging . But that’s life . We still need to enjoy life as much as we can and as much as possible , even little things that give us pleasure and make us happy , we should do imo

Warne ate a rubbish diet for most of his life, and his weight blew out repetitively. He smoked for more than half his years, up to 50/day. He binge drank off and on over the decades. I don't know when he was last vaccinated for Covid. I am a health professional. I know of 3 men who died within a week of the vaccine, who were otherwise healthy. sub arachnoid hemorrhage and MI. I know of over 20 patients who had severe adverse reactions to the vaccine, who doctors were too afraid to report to VAERS. If Warne died of vaccine injury, the medical professions and govt will NEVER let this go public.

Played football with him … best shape of his life …. Vaccine mandates in Australia are a disgrace … beautiful words … but enough of this denial … wait for the AFL and Soccer to start … I’m so concerned about what’s to come .., just the beginning of this genocide in humanity.. 🙏 pay attention and stay safe
