I really implore people to be mindful of who they take advice from and honestly, we should only be taking advice from the Lord because He is the only one who knows what to do. So true, Tony!!! 💯 I realized early in my mid twenties that those pencil skirts were drawing too much unwanted attention. I couldn't stand the "Hey Ma" or the "Hey shawnty" or the "Can I get you numba" or the lack of opening my doors. I quickly started being extreme with the modesty. By 30, I found a balanced way of dressing. After the changes, doors were being opened, and men started addressing me more politely and courtesy, and even asked me if they could help me with my baggage. Now that it's the treatment I expect.
