I guess eventually there will be a machine that will remove pulp, mucilage and parchment. The remaining beans will pass through an aggressive dryer and come out semi-roasted. Starbucks would certainly be interested in such a device.

So unless your buying your coffee beans whole roasted ,, does it mean you might be getting coffee roasted with mucilage to your dismay and the coffee producers sell as pure coffee to bulk up production??
