Lessons Learned Running an FN FAL in 2024 (Modern .308 Battle Rifle)

I’m presently laying undersea fiber optic cable at Quinhagak and am seriously looking forward to shooting my FAL I picked up at Arctic Ammo this spring. So far, all I’ve got to do with it is, my girlfriend says, “massage it”, lol. I’m trying to consolidate into few necessary firearms for when SHTF soon and the FAL checks many of MY boxes. I wanted to make 6ARC fill the role I’m asking .308 FAL to, and it just couldn’t. .308 is so flexible! I know you’re not down in my neighborhood, so I’m guessing you’re up that way and may shop at the same store… anyway, we do a lot of shooting on the Kenai and are pretty well planned for defense from Anchorage, lol. You should look up our group sometime (Anchor Pt).

That there new fangled rifle is too modern I prefer me one of them there Garands🤣 Like the build. I am a fan of the FAL a true battle rifle

If you want some advice, I would say look at what you’re doing when you’re doing a drill. There’s no reason not to look at your holster when putting your pistol in it.
