During the Young Voices tour she managed to break another Guinness World Record for the largest number of backing singers ever to accompany one lead vocalist at a public venue. She accomplished this with the help of 6031 children in the O2.

I'm not an industry expert or anything like that, but from what I have seen it is an extremely rare thing for someone to have a vocal talent as Connie does and also AT HER AGE to have a cement-like bond with her audience - it's clear they adore her - and Connie's bond with her fans is as natural as the rain falling from the sky. The reality that she is only barely a teenager here is nothing short of incredible.

Connie, as well as being an exceptionally talented young lady also has that remarkable quality of actually truly caring about others. She has showed that time and time again, most recently donating all the profits of her recent concerts in South Korea to the families of those who lost children in the recent ferry sinking in South Korea. She also changed at least one song at her concerts in respect to the Korean people. Connie only just turned 13 in November 2013. If she continues on as she has started there is no limit to what this remarkable young lady can achieve in her lifetime. And I am not just referring to her abilities as a singer/musician.

I saw the video of Connie Talbot going to Korea. It's ironic that Miss Talbot gazed through one of South Korea's largest telescopes. Light pollution in South Korea is major. Where as North Korea is one of the darkest places, both literally and figuratively. And in that hour of darkness a telescope captures much much more. Just as the evening stars shine brightest on the citizens of North Korea, so too, may stars like Connie Talbot light up their hearts in freedom.

Connie has some magical thing that makes even a grumpy person smile and this I know from seeng it one of my friends was often grumpy in the morning now they watch one of the videos of her songs and they say it makes them happier for the day. makes me happy to to see someone do what they love and be good at it and also do it because she loves to sing not so much about any money from it

I commented on this video before. It is fastly becoming a favorite of hers. Connie's voice was always amazing, I just felt there something missing about her stage shows. She often just stood in the same place looking like she just wanted to sing get the song over and get off. This video shut me up! She worked the stage from beginning to end, looked happy and those wonderful beautiful smiles were so awesome it just made the performace amazing! Keep up the great work Connie!!!

The conductor must have left this world for a moment. This due to receiving/giving too much musical spiritual energy. In watching his animated motions, I cannot think of a more therapeutic career. Oh, ..Connie Talbot, you were also great... Beside the singing, your simple spontaneous walking, swaying your mike-free arm, connecting with the audience was more inspirational than any kind of contrived dance. You were a visual artist stroking your warm colors to every corner of the hall. Other people said they cried. This must come from wanting to reconnect. It goes beyond a particular artist. It was also moving when so many wrote that they were there. There is a need to not just be a number in the crowd. A famous person could also feel lonely or lost in a crowd. There is something bigger than whoever we are. It was refreshing to see thousands of young singers guiding the melody versus machine music guiding them. I can relate to being there in a different way. It was about 36 years ago (1978) in a college dorm. I was playing 'Let it Be' on a piano. I could not read musical, yet I caused a woman to cry. This was not due to any sour notes. Instead with the acoustic piano foot pedals, I was able to express emotions. Some of the listeners poured out their feelings to me. I didn't know how to respond. I was just a regular college guy with a Jewish afro. In not believing in idols, we must see the bigger picture and not idolize people. A girl commented here on wishing she could trade her looks with the singer. Then people would like her. Readers, if you want to be a star, just reach out to the ones who feel left out. Yes, we pick up something beautiful in Connie Talbit that goes beyond her looks and talent.. But famous people are people too. Keep the perspective. The six year old Connie Talbot singing Over the Rainbow, brought many to tears. It must be our own yearning for the simpler way we once were. We can capture with what's over the rainbow, by recapturing the 6 year old child who is in each one of us. This could be done by avoiding idle gossip idol worship. There is no place like home. By coming home to kind modest family values, we can capture the qualities we see with this star. The external gifts of good looks and singing abilities are fleeing. Be a star by going for the greater quality you see, which appears to be kindness. We don't have to see a wizard for a pure heart if it's already there.
