💙✨What a great run! You are absolutely right- his confidence is in such a better place. One of the reasons I continue to follow is the excitement of Always seeing a huge positive change in the way your horses go. It’s very impressive. Also that you pay such close attention on what the horse is thinking/feeling and making adjustments accordingly. Amazing job and cheering you on!🥰💙

As always, Lee is a pleasure to watch. I so understand the wet noodle feeling. I had a very supple Quarterhorse that seemed to have a disconnected hind end. Took years for me to figure out how to work with him.

That extended trot must have been so hard to sit! You did very well, Lee has gained so much more confidence thanks to his awesome trainer!

I love your new horses and love following your career but your ottbs have a serious soft spot in my heart. I think they are just so much elegant and purposeful. And these voice overs are my favorites!

You two made it look easy and fun in the dressage even if there was a little wiggling. I love the sense of freedom in his stride when you let him extend.

He’s all blah blah show jumping bored mom when can I go for it and then Ouu cross country, whoop whoop 🙈🤣 You make it look so easy too. How do you get fit when your running a number of horses in one day, is it just your general fitness from all the riding or do you do anything else?

It’s a shame that the F.E.I. does not respect the traditional order of phases originated in three-day eventing by letting competitors run cross country before show jumping. There’s a reason to do it in that order. If the crazy cross country horses 40 years ago had had to show jump before they went cross country, they would’ve had ALL of the show jump rails down. It’s a positive attribute that Lee wants to go cross country. With the size and complexity of the cross country courses that he is jumping, you want him to be a lion there. After he’s nice and tired out, then do show jumping. That’s the way the sport was supposed to be. For a reason.

Then maybe they do show jumping first BECAUSE they know it will be more difficult that way.

Yeah, I had always read the point of showjumping last was to test if after xc the horse still had the energy and strength to be careful over the poles and precise on the turns, etc.. I don't get all this doing the showjumping in the middle business but it does seem to be more and more common. 😕
