And canon in spiderman is that gwen dies. Not his dad. Sure miles is a newer character and yeah the idea of the uncle ben death in the comics would make it seem like his dad. But remember his uncle ben character already died. His uncle who was the bad guy in the first movie. Buttttt in the amazing spiderman 2. And in the comics it is well known in the fandom. That gwen alive means shes going to die. Its arguably more canon of a death than miles dad. Like i said his uncle already died who clearly had a uncle ben esc influence on him. Ergo gwen dies and them saying its going to be his dad his just a mislead😊
