One thing they didn’t include from the book, which I thought was a shame but understandable due to time constraints, is that when Anin is away with her cousin, Pin keeps thinking about what Anin told her about her feelings. Pin goes through her diaries, reading entries from when they were kids to the present. She realizes that everything Anin told her mirrored her own feelings, and that she has always felt the same way since they were young.

Anin is actually not that different from Pin. She may be direct and straightforward but she actually suppresses her vulnerability. That's why she acts strong in front of everyone when she is not okay on inside. It's interesting how Anin and Pin suppresses their feelings in the opposite direction. Pin suppressing her positive emotions because she was raised to be proper and dutiful. Meanwhile Anin was raised to be carefree and liberal so she absolutely abhors negative feelings so she blocks her vulnerability in front of people.

These two ladies are, in my opinion, display the most authentic GL chemistry and have done excellent work together. I had been anxiously awaiting this drama since learning of their teaming again and reading the novels. Both are very good actresses and I've got to say, their kissing is lovely. Two thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽

I think that Anin did a brilliant job in expounding her feelings. At that time, Pin did not even know that 'that' kind of relationship was possible. She has deep feelings for Anin but could not give it a name (or was reluctant to because of social norms). So by Anin calling it 'love' and describing what love feels like, it gave Pin something she could relate to. She gave Pin concrete examples. That these experiences - wanting to be close to someone, thinking constantly about someone, longing for their touch - are akin to romantic love. Anin simplified it for Pin so much she even went so far as asking a yes or no question - "Am I that person?" I believe this question was the catalyst that vanquished Pin's confusion and enabled her to ascertain her true feelings... because in her mind, 'Yes, you are that person'.

TLP’s author also pointed out on twitter how she loved Pin’s kiss on Anil’s shoulder after she said she’s giving everything to Anil. So I guess that whole confession thing is really superb. It's funny how episode 4 was Freen's episode to act through facial expression and episode 5 was Becky's counter to Freen in the facial acting battle. I think they both won. 😘 Also, I think Pin telling Anin that she didn't know if she felt the same left the door open. Pin didn't completely shut Anin down, so there was hope. I'm an introvert. I get how Pin feels.

So glad you mentioned that Pin’s avoidance wasn’t out of character because she also did that since episode 3. It’s one of the things they changed from the novel. In the novel, Pin also stated that Anil felt like a stranger to her but they kept hanging out like the way they did before even when Anil’s making her advances. I think the show did a good job emphasizing this in episode 3 that they are different people now and Anil coming back will affect Pin’s routine. If we didn’t get Pin’s avoidance from ep 3, this non-communication from her will seem to be out of place and finally in this episode, we knew her reasons for her avoidance. It’s about the thought of impossibility of their love 😢

This episode really breathtakingly ❤️🔥sweet and hot, FreenBecky's oozing chemistry exuding to rooftop,they've matched the cahracter in the book to their acting performance. Like small glimpse, gesture and facial expressions. They did great. I can see Lady Pin's hesitation from her true feelings because she's afraid if even what they felt for each be even possible. But they are so alike to what they feel. Anil is just expressive and confident yet Pin is more to analyze and weigh things right before she acts..she thinks more but the feeling is equally intense.

Anil has always been very good at hiding her emotions. She doesn’t want others to see her vulnerable side, and even when she’s crying, she turns away so Pin won’t see. I think when her brother went to see her, she acted lively and energetic to avoid making her brother too worried.

I agree there were scenes where I wanted more context and for them to give reason to certain behaviours. I think when Anil tries to draw out Pin's feelings/thoughts but gets an "i don't know", she does understand Pin is being avoidant. And even though she clearly is hurt and turns away she knows that Pin does love her the same but clearly hasn't fully come to terms of accepting it the same way. It is the only reason why I think Anil was so happy afterwards. This episode was a bit up and down. Becky and Freen's acting shines but I think the editing/writing needed to flesh some things out more. However Loyal Pin has become my top Thai GL and we are not even done yet. lol.

Actually, Anil isn’t happy afterwards. She’s trying to be okay. Her last words to Pin are her apologizing if she said something that might offend her and saying she might be delusional because of her fever. It’s her coming to terms that she’s accepting whether Pin will reciprocate her love or not. She will still love Pin as always. We see the aftermath of how devastated she was on the funeral(?) It means the rejection affected her but she’s willing to be a good friend to Pin after all that happened

Agree with you, the part after Anil's confession was actually explained better in the novel. Anil was feeling pretty dejected afterward but still tried to put on a fake smile when she met Pin after returning from the funeral, she even said: "I won’t have a fever that would bother you again" when Pin asked her if she's feeling better before Pin reassured her that she never felt bothered by Anil, which then lead to the "Anil misses Khun Pin" part. I have no idea why they decided to cut it but so far this is the only part which I prefer the novel version more.

An interesting comment I read about the "resting on Anin's chest" scene and saying Pin belongs to her princess (it's in portuguese, you might want to translate it =] ) "Minha cena favorita é quando Pin disse que ela pertence a Anin enquanto estava deitada em seu peito. Eu não sabia disso, mas aprendi com fãs tailandeses e até mesmo com não fãs tailandeses (alguns moradores locais estão até assistindo a esse gl e compartilhando suas opiniões no Twitter). Eles me disseram que a "declaração" de Pin é na verdade uma tradição de proclamar devoção a um membro da realeza. Normalmente, as mulheres (provavelmente servas, aquelas com baixa realeza e acompanhantes) são "ordenadas" a fazer isso e não têm escolha a não ser aceitar por honra. They are not related by blood. Pin is brought in after her parents died, so she's kind of adopted

To be honest Becky's acting improved a lot from gap, you can see how she master small giving small expression that makes her acting really good. On the other hand Freens acting didn't improve at all, most of the time she looks akward I can say it's because Pin's character is shy and timid but no you can see she's acting which makes it worse. It should be natural specially when she have scene with Becky she did not able to deliver the emotion that make it unbearable most of the times.
