I'm of welsh blood and I loved popping into Wales but knowing this was coming I've been finding new places in England to and spend my time and money. The is a youtuber (Turd towns) He stared off in south Wales showing how bad things are with no work and the towns falling into decay. Labour does nothing for the people. stop voting for them.

Is it true that the Highway Code has been changed in Wales stating that; "Cyclists are to allow a minimum of one metre clearance when overtaking cars"🙃 My last visit to Wales was when they had a sensible speed limit. That was my last visit!

Only a few days in and I've been trapped in long queues of traffic stuck behind cyclists (who looked worried and scared with all that traffic so close to them for so very long) - you need 30mph+ to over take a cyclist, bad times ahead Drakeford truly would be beat by a rocking horse if he went on mastermind with one.

Hi,I Know what you mean, I do know your area Old Colwyn ,Colwyn Bay, Mochdre, Penrhyn Bay ,Rhos on sea and that is a slow drive say that diving time is 40 mins now at 20 before you could have done the same run at 30 and would have taken you 28 to 30 mins. You are right not just the coast but all over counties of North Wales are going to lose out people from England are not going to travel up here and crawl a long at 20 and then drive back to England. Like your self I live on a steep hill before when you could do 30 you just drove up in 3rd gear now your revving higher and stuck in 2nd gear that is more rev's more petrol more pollution and longer driving. I live about 48 miles away from you in a village of Pentre Broughton on the hills in the county of Wrexham, I was in the centre of Wrexham on Friday , it was slow it would have been quicker to walk. It is not safer as there will be more accidents because on road range. More pollution as engines run longer at lower gear with about same revs. More congestion as vehicles bunch up behind complying drivers and more dangerous as the boy racers will launch like formula one starts at the end on the 20 MPH zone at both ends of towns with frustrated overtaking. Ambulances and emergency vehicles will be delayed by the traffic build up resulting in deaths. Prices will go up as haulage will cost more in time and fuel and this must be passed on to the costumer. They have somehow spent 33 million implementing this madness.

I visit North Wales very often ... after seeing your video efforts ..well done highlighting the new speed limits .. I have now decided to visit elsewhere.. period.. .. and take my business and my money elsewhere as well .. I drove to North Wales from Devon for a holiday a couple of years ago. Never again will I go to that country. It took so long to get to where I was going once I'd got over the bridge it was ridiculous and now the speed limit has been reduced to the speed most people were travelling when I was there on holiday, there is no chance of the mind numbing, senseless 6 hour journey ever taking less time. The half of my family who are Welsh and Live in Wales can screw themselves if they ever expect a visit from me. I'll stay in the areas of the country where you can travel twice as far in half the time.

When it was 30 how many people actually did 30, they were doing more like 35. I live in North Wales and I can tell you the area has some of the worst drivers in the UK, and this speed limit change has not changed much. As for a variable limit around schools, the only time you couldn't speed is when parents are dropping the children off or collecting them, and that's because they clog the roads up with their selfish parking. Also what happens if that's something on at the school outside of normal hours.
