Love your sewing room! It has great natural lighting. I just moved my sewing room so I am still getting organized. I am using pocket folders for my pdf patterns, they seem to work better than the large envelopes. I’m trying to group similar fabrics together, some stacked Avon shelves and some stacked in sweater boxes (ex Christmas fabrics, fat quarters, linen, etc) Thank you for sharing your beautiful inspiration of sewing!

I vote for the bird painting above the sewing machines, because I think it is nicer to look at than the clock when you are spending a lot of time sewing. I think you should do away with the clock, especially since you forget to change the batteries, and therefore it doesn't fulfill its function. Anyway, I like your sewing space, because it looks like a real, creative person lives and works in there.

My sewing room looks just like yours! I also have been sewing on that same serger for over 20 years. I wore the first one out and I bought another one bc I loved it so much and all of my friends with fancy sergers have hiccups and problems all the time ❤ I love your space and you! Well, I believe I am outnumbered as I was going to suggest you hang the Bird painting above the clothing rack. I don’t know why but I am partial to that clock!! LOL! I think you should get a pack of batteries and tell Caleb you’d like to entrust him with changing the clock batteries when the clock dies. 😊 I love your sewing room! The lighting and space are wonderful! Thank you for the tour! I learn a lot from you and your wonderful tutorials. PS: I had to laugh at 24:45 when you mention the clothing rack has become storage for Hubby and Son’s ironed clothing as well. Hey, life is REAL!! Embrace it!

I vote for Birds above sewing table . I also love your room so bright with great tables & unique pieces. I love using old filing cabinets for storage , little ones under the tables & horizontal filing cabinets with 2 huge drawers . They are often so cheap you can paint & decorate them . (lots of ideas on Pintrest ).

I love that you took over your dining room. I have a small corner in the basement that I love. It may be in the basement but it's my space and I love it!. My space gets messy quickly after working one 2 or 3 projects w/o cleaning up. I quite enjoy putting my room back together. Sometimes its a hassle but most time its refreshing my mind and space. I love the bird canvas over your machines. What do you think of adding wall space to free up some drawers and put your most used items near the machine on a pegboard or shelving. Just wondering because I have 1 large pegboard and I am trying to see what is the best configuration of things to put on it. Thamks for the tour, happy sewing👋🏽

Your studio is so real, Love it! And all the little things that need attention, very relatable! Re pre-washing fabrics, I have had several cases of the fabric changing drastically after they were washed!! and no longer suitable at all for the project in mind. Shrinking turned out to come in second, So glad I found out before sewing them up 🙃

Well 😂thank you for this tour and laff. I have to be honest, my sewing room and excessive bins of fabric looks like yours. If you can you should consider using up the upper wall space with wood shelving to assist with your organizing your room. O yeah , i like the bird picture over your sewing room area instead of the clock. The wall space over your clothing rack.

I just found your channel. I enjoyed the video. The sewing room is fine. I sew in a corner of my bedroom. On the other side of my room, I have 3 plastic drawer units that I use for my supplies. I also have Vintage Singer 99 sewing machine that is in a cabinet. It is in my dining area. I ha e a total of three sewing machines.

I have a table almost identical without a drawer. It has a shelf that holds a sewing machine and it rolls. It’s a really a big help. I have a 1985 Singer 6268 electronic and a 1954 Singer 15-91 both reconditioned and made in the USA. My mannequin is from Duluth Trading they used on the outlet sales floor and rolls. I think it was $30. I have to pad it out so it resembles my measurements. You have the same serger I am buying soon. Love the size of your space. I think mine is much smaller and it doubles as my eBay space.

You need to go to dollar tree and get lots of storage containers so you won't loose anything trust me I have lost many things that i can't find either am going organize my room with dollar tree and TEMU organization stuff so I can sew again not a professional but love doing things here and there just for fun probably relief me of all this stress am going through but really dollar tree has a lot of good stuff that will help you it will be more fun 😊
