Wow that is immaculate. Great airbrush painting. This turned out really well the details like the frog bowl and the rodent cage and the pillows really bring it all together great work. And of course the twins them self look great. What a stunning piece!!

Great job brother, love it. Also when using clear epoxy’s - if you are struggling with tiny pesky bubbles, apply direct heat with your heatgun. They will pop & dissipate in notime.
@MightyJabbasCollection2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I did do that but it still had bubbles throughout that didn’t get popped. I probably introduced too much air in the mixing process

Fantastic work my friend!!! I understand the apprehensive thoughts behind the painting of the female Hutt, getting the right combination of the cartoon look and the CGI/realistic interpretation of her but you nailed it mate.

Also, It'd be great to see an update down the road of you printing the bearers, I imagine making them strong enough to hold the platform could be a challenge?

Everytime I've had that glob happen I get the printer to the temp it would be to accept new filament (230 c for mine) and just push more filament through gets it off easily

Turned out awesome! I'm more into TVC 3.75" also Hot Toys 1/6 scale. Would be cool of they come in those scales. I don't have a 3D printer so I would need to purchase them from a seller. This has given me some cool ideas for a display! Very cool your airbrushing skills are coming along nicely. Really did a great job on the female Hutt, that pinky, purple tone works really well. Very nicely blended, great job!
@MightyJabbasCollection2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Of course it is possible to resize things for 3D printing, so you could potentially have these printed at either 1/18 or 1/6 scale, but it can sometimes cause issues

This looks great. If I was to send u 2 Lego Jabba's, how much would u charge to paint them to better match the twins?
@MightyJabbasCollection2 жыл бұрын
Well I don’t generally paint for other people. And I’ve never actually painted anything LEGO so I’m not sure how it would turn out if if I did
@mrb29172 жыл бұрын
always configure slicer settings for 1mm minimum top surface thickness (5 top layers when printing with 0.2mm layer height, etc). also, you didn't really need the support in those holes. the printer will easily make perfectly circular, fully unsupported holes with no issues due to how gradually the hole is created with no real sudden overhangs like the kind you'd have in a square hole, for instance.
@MightyJabbasCollection2 жыл бұрын
I’m aware I didn’t need support, which is why I mentioned that specifically in the video. 😬 It was just an oversight like the quality setting issue

Do you have a Jabba toy that's mouth moves when you move his arm.. I saw a video of a guy making him talk that was hilarious... I'm sure if you did a vid like that.. It would be great.

Great videos as always! I am wondering if you could recommend a good paint for 3D Print resin, specifically Siraya Tech resin.
@MightyJabbasCollection2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think it really matters that much. Just get a decent quality acrylic paint like Vallejo or Army Builder, and I recommend priming it somehow with a spray paint to help paint adhere. I have also used cheaper brands of paint like Apple Barrel and they are also okay but the coverage isn’t as good
@e4b6112 жыл бұрын
@@MightyJabbasCollection Thanks, I heard of Vallejo and Army Builder but wasn't sure what you use and your stuff turns out really good. Thanks for the quick response and recommendations. Really like the 3DPrint Resin videos, you are really good at showing and explaining "the 'how to's " and processes.
