Overhaul wasn’t upset that he got his quirk taken away, he was upset that he couldn’t undo what he did to his boss. He promised that after he started the monopoly of Eri-based drugs, he would undo what he did to him in the first place.

Legoto the Legonian Is Overhaul really powerless now though? Unlike Tomura Chisaki’s quirk is never stated to be tied to his hands. It’s always listed as contact or touch. So couldn’t he use his feet to fix his arms?

The Joker He just had his hands cut off, not only would that be incredibly painful but you’re probably not going to be thinking to clearly after that. Plus I doubt he would immediately think of it since it’s not a practical application

The Shigaraki scene was a bit confusing when I first watched so imma explain here for the ones that didn't get it. Mr Compress used his quirk and snatched one of Overhaul's hands... And Overhaul uses his quirk with his hands... So that means that they just snatched Overhaul's quirks Tomura uses his quirk to cut of Overhaul's other hand, making so that he can't use his quirk as... well, he dosen't have hands (which were how he used it) so basically Overhaul is quirkless now. When Overhaul has this little flashback about Hassaikai's boss and screams, it's because now he can't fix the boss, he damaged him so that he could fix him later, but now that he is quirkless, he can't. I hope this helped a bit

TheJjcczz as of now he’s only ever used his hands to channel his quirk, it is possible that his quirk could evovle/he could learn to use his quirk with his feet but hes being sent to taurtaurus so its unlikely he would get a chance to try it.

This information comes from the official BKHA information book thing: It is assumed tha Overhaul's quirk is tied to his hands as in the book, it states that his quirk adapted to his body, making him able to use it again. If e consider that it "adapted", he may be able to use in his feet now, that means that at that point in the anime, he coudn't

I was able to swallow the pain when I read it in the manga but with Mirio’s reaction and just the whole situation in general, it felt all the more real in animation. I can say without a doubt this episode got a couple tears out of me as well, we feel your pain.

It deadass took me like 4 or 5 reaction videos to realize that Nighteye hung on so long with that spike in his torso because he was waiting to speak to All Might one last time. The only reason he got to speak to Mirio was that Mirio limped his way into the room before he was able to pass on. Talk to the people important in your life, folks. You never know when it might be too late. Oh and by the way they released a trailer for the second half of the season, I've only seen it through a reaction video and at the time it was itself only subbed via a fan.

This episode tore my heart out so badly. But I love how Tamaki came in at the right moment and Aizawa managed to let Froppy know to help him use his power on Eri. ...And that Froppy was smart enough to realize what he was trying to get at, because apparently it's not immediately the first thing a lot of people think of when they see that scene (I've seen A LOT of reactions to this episode, and the majority wonder what she's doing until they see his eyes turn red.) AND FATGUM IS SUCH AN ADORABLE SOFT BOI I LOVE HIM---- (And also, cute thing for the Japanese version: The subtitles when Tamaki addresses Froppy as she comes up to him is, "Ms. Ribbit." Also also, Chisaki also freaked out in part not only because of what happened but because he can no longer repair the man who took him in~ ...I tend to type these as I watch to get my thoughts out, can you tell? XD) And what a good teacher Aizawa is, taking care of them all beyond the call of duty and knowing exactly what they need when they need it. I mean he didn't have to take Izuku to see All Might knowing how that would probably end, but he knew he'd want to be there and he personally took him there. It was also a really good detail, for them to show the light going out of his eyes instead of just the flatline on the machine.

Yeah, good times... 😂 Seriously, I used to think it was cheap to make it seem like people were risking their lives but always survived regardless. With this season finally showing characters dying for real, though, they hit harder than ever, they feel much more heavy because they're rare occasions. So yeah, it works pretty well.

Poetic justice at its finest. Overhaul viewed quirks as a disease and wanted to destroy them, only to lose his hands (and his Quirk) in the end. The girl he tortured and abused for the sake of his plan, is the one who helped usher in his final defeat. The man he insulted at the beginning of the arc took everything from him. And the man he idolized, who he put in a coma in order to complete his plan, will now be comatose for the rest of his life without Overhaul's power to repair him. Overhaul wanted to destroy powers, and by the end, he was powerless in every possible meaning of the word. He lost everything, and the man he did all of it for is now as good as dead because of him. And all Overhaul can do is watch helplessly, and scream.

I honestly have not cried Force quite some time. I don't know what it is, but this anime definitely makes me so emotional. I find what the League of Villains did to Overhaul cruel but at the same time ironic and just. I mean, the guy literally injured his own caretaker so that he could become the leader of the group, tortured a young little girl, intimated so many different crimes. Someone like him is way too dangerous, especially with his mindset.

He couldn't let her go. it was way too risky because he had to time perfectly letting her go and turning off his 100% full cowl, his bones were exploding every second he had 100% on, if he let go off of her and had full cowl on, his body would have exploded instantly killing him, if he switched to full cowl 8% while holding eri then he could have been rewound into nothingness as he's not sustaining injuries anymore. It's a hard decision to make since every choice could kill him, the safest one was to keep 100% on to fight back Eri's rewind, also he was in so much pain he couldn't move so he was pretty much a goner, fortunately Aizawa was there to save the day.

There's been a fair amount of on-screen death in BnHA so far. The kid with the wings who played with Bakugo and Midoriya got stabbed in the brain by Stain, and his fellow Noumu was incinerated by Endeavor. Overhaul popped Magne, Shigaraki decayed Overhaul's bodyguard, and Dabi turned an alleyway of thugs into an ash heap. (Nana getting nuked was technically offscreen since all we saw was the blast, as was Snatch getting burned to death this episode) That being said Season 5's latter half is going to be a bloodbath... er uh dust bowl? Both? No who am I kidding it's going to be heavily censored.
