I’m limiting myself to 3 luxury bags in 2024 so I need all three to be perfect. The Mulberry Mini Alexa was my first bag of 2024. My second bag for 2024 will either be Fendi, Chanel, or Dior. Help me to decide which bag would be best for me this year.

Hi Melissa! Chanel lover over here. I would say that between the Chanel 19, coco handle, and mini rectangle …. The 19 will TOTALLY MATCH your style (in my opinion) … I have 4 of them and let me tell you that I LOVE THEM… so versatile, chic, and edgy

Hi Mel, my vote is for the Dior saddle bag or the Chanel 19. Maybe the Chanel 19 for bag #2 and saddle for bag #3. It will give you some time to figure out what color saddle bag you want.

Ahh all lovely choices but if I had to pick a fave that would be different would be the lilac peekaboo. Or the black Chanel 19. Just to give some variety to your collection! The black Chanel 19 is amaze and the chunky hardware is beautiful. 🖤

I’d choose the Dior saddle in the most functional color for you. I think the saddle will bring something unique to ANY collection. I finally saw the one I wanted in the berry / wine color gold hardware in person in Dior and omg I love that bag ! If I had all the thousands to blow I would’ve gotten it that day. I love the warm taupe but we do have to pick colors that work for us. (Also the mini Alexa is looking so cute and dainty in the background!)

All your choices are super classic , you can't go wrong. A black Chanel and is such a signature piece that will be timeless. It would add nicely to your collection. Light sky blue and/or lilac are beautiful pastel neutrals that are so pretty and would work great with your skin tone. Sometimes the find or deal on the preloved market can help make your decision. 😉

Excited to see which you choose! I have bought and returned the Chanel 19 in the small size 3 times. I could not find the right color pink to match my Lilly Pulitzer wardrobe. I have the Fendi Baguette in pink. The shade of pink also does not match my wardrobe so I do not use it a lot but it is a Really nice bag! Happy shopping!!!!!

So now I’m done with the video and am ready to weigh in. My gosh this is a tough one! They are all so pretty. In terms of functionality I think the Chanel 19 and the Fendi baguette are similar. The Chanel 19 may hold a little more and it goes crossbody better, but you can extend the strap with a chain or get a crossbody strap for the baguette. And you know I love that light blue color for the saddle bag. The warm taupe one is beautiful also and not warm at all. I think it would go with most cool colors. Well this is a great list of upcoming bags. I’d work my way through all of them haha. But I’d go with the Chanel 19 next.

Great video! I have just purchased a vintage Dior oblique saddle bag. It’s an unusual one as it comes with a thicker fabric strap. I agree that the price for saddle bags has surged. They are very popular in the UK. Definitely buy asap as they seem to be skyrocketing. ❤

The saddle bag has grown on me over time but that top handle is really awkward when you wear it crossbody 😢

Yes it is. Luckily I’m not much of a cross body person. I have a larger chest and it accentuates it. I’ll probably use it long shoulder and top handle most.

I love my saddle but wish i got it prelove without strap for some savings as i don't like nor use the long strap. I sold my Chanel 19 as i don't like the thick chain after using it for 1-2 years. It's strap is too thick and hurts my back crossbody. I did consider baguette but i prefer the vintage style with a slightly longer strap for the shoulder. The new one has 2 straps, one too long one too short 😂 Peekaboo is way too heavy imo. I tried and considered it for a few years now but the middle divider really adds weight

I vote Chanel 19… or honestly, check out the Tory Birch Kira diamond quilted collection. I bought the regular size in black and it’s stunning. I personally can’t justify spending the money on Chanel at this time, but the 19 style is exactly my style. I just bought a beautiful new work bag as well 😅 The Kira is satisfying me… for now. If you don’t get the 19 now, you will get it eventually, especially if you’re going pre loved. You have lots of time. Saving $2k on Fendi sounds like a great move if your perfect 19 hasn’t shown up yet ♥️

The petite looks super cute crossbody but the small looked a bit bulky crossbody, but I think you carry that size top handle anyway. It fits as much or more than the small lady Dior I think. It is bigger than the mini peekaboo which holds plenty. In case you were worried about it carrying everything you need.

Definitely recommend the 19 you would love the space the look and is easy to wear. I wanted the saddle bag put my Phone on it and that was it not roomy and too rigid the look fantastic but not practical besides you have the lady Dior is gorgeous I’ll say get the Chanel 🙌🫶
