Excellent work, sir. These are some of the most underrated videos on KZbin. Doug the Eagle's "walkthroughs" are a big part of why I love the later Ultima series so much. I'd just gotten into Daggerfall and Morrowind, found those, then fell in love with Ultima VII and VIII around the same time. What an amazing era of gaming.

I like to think Hydros was completely confused by the sudden appearance and then explosion of the Avatar that it threw her off script.

There is another fun way to play with the "immortal" NPCs. such as Mythran, Beren, Darion, Stellos, Cyrrus, Torwin, and so on. With the hackmover cheat, move the orange shallow lava to your backpack, then put on any floor, then lure your target to the lava patch, they will make repeating actions of being hit over and over again....

While attacking peasants isn't exactly virtuous, I love how the people reading turn to face you when they're attacked. The fact that he made the 'turning a page' sound after I'd pocketed the book amused me as well.

Flash doesn't allow you to teleport through walls. IIRC it turns you into a little fireball which travels to the destination and if it hits an obstruction on the way, it'll drop you off there instead. This makes it relatively useless, and is also probably why the developers struggled to make a flash test that couldn't simply be brute-forced.

Does anything special happen if you free the lurker while Mordea is still alive? Do you even have to cheat to do that? I don't remember what (if anything) blocks the path to Carthax Lake.

There is nothing to stop that, and sadly it doesn't really have any noticeable effect, e.g. Mordea still has her super lightning powers
