Let's Build a New Vanda Bed for Pat's Orchids | I Hit the Orchid Jackpot Ep. 2

I've found a permanent home in my garden for Pat's vandas and in today's video, I'll be showing you where and how I built a new bed (orchid patch) for the already established sun vandas that she gifted me.

Lord I pray that I hit the vanda jackpot too. Miss P, are these shade vandas? I recently bought a shade vanda but I haven't decided where I'm going to put her as yet. I'm trying to learn from ur videos how to care for her.

Hi Diana, just be kind and unselfish to others and you may hit the jackpot too lol. These are sun vandas which are usually grown in pots or beds. Shade vandas have long roots and are normally hung, supported by a plastic basket with a wire hanger. Shade vandas are placed in an area where they are not exposed to full sunlight.

Your shade vanda should be watered at least twice per day, everyday to avoid dehydration
