Was wild to watch everyone jump on Omar about Knightfall as if it wasn’t easily Batman’s most mainstream popular event and also on the first slide of eligible events. Continued to love the savage insults being thrown around throughout the stream, solid stuff!

Just for the sake of clarity: The opening slide was a list of MANY DC Events drawn from my DC Universe Events guide that I mostly included here for comedic effect knowing that aside from Omar & I the panel had picked the same books as each other. We could have had up to 27 unique books but even using backup picks we only wound up with 17 (6 from Omar & I, and 11 from the other 7 people). However, the panelists got a list of guidelines of what specifically is/isn't eligible that read in part: For the purposes of this show, a DC Event is a crossover or event mini-series storyline that includes characters and/or titles from more than one line and which fits (or would fit) into one collected edition (other than an Absolute). Here's what NOT to pick: - Events with a scope bigger than one collected edition - Storylines in a single ongoing title, like Judas Contract or the Warworld Saga - Crossovers within a single line of books, like Death of Superman or Superman: Doomed

Evergreens are great, everyone should read most of these, they're fantastic, but what I really hope is that a bunch of forgotten oddballs get the DC Finest Event treatment. Stuff that hasn't been reprinted in years or maybe never. Gimme Armageddon 2001, Eclipso Darkness Within, Millennium, Bloodlines, Underworld Unleashed, and please, I need an Invasion omnibus. That is one of the rare crossovers where the tie-in issues actually contributed to the overall story, because they were all battlefronts in the war. Oh, and Day of Judgment, I actually dug Hal as the Spectre. Could reprint his solo Spectre series along with the mini.

I'd really like to have a Sword of Azrael deluxe edition. Still baffles me they left that out of the Knightfall omni.
