We are back on Cobblebottom Row today and into a new house. I'll introduce Rosemary Miller (Shaun's Mum) to you and finish the exterior, I'll be back tomorrow with the interior!

As soon as you'd said Rose was a medium detective, I instantly had this thought that her gift skipped a generation and our Detective Daddy has a one night stand daughter he doesn't know about out there doing Nancy Drew type mysteries with her gifts. Maybe (STORYLINES) she loses her mum and finds her dad??? Bachelor first time dad and badass medium granny bonding with supernatural teenage daughter while solving a murder?? Yes please.

I think it would be really cute to have a gate from Rosemary’s garden into her son’s so they can get into each other’s houses from the back - my and my next door neighbour growing up had this and I think this would suit your storyline. Loving the build so far 😊

I see Detective Rose with a Spirit Assistant, maybe a friend she made at a murder case in the past - the victim. This Spirit (with nosy trait and break-in talent) snoops about the hidden places where Rose can't go, then reports on what he/she/they/etc (lol) has found out.

Since Rose is a medium, maybe a ghost that “only she can see" (creating story lines within the same is hard sometimes 😂) should live with her. Maybe instead of her marriage not working out, her husband died when Detective Handsome was young, but he can’t see his dad because he doesn’t have the medium trait. Perhaps that’s part of why she’s so invested in these kinds of murder cases because her love was also murdered and she could never find the killer.

It would look so cute if you put a balcony on top of the extension of Rose’s house. And an iron table for her and Sean to drink tea every morning over some newspapers. This kind of french breakfast vibe. Also, give her an old big bookcase because she would have ALL of Detective Poirot and Mrs Marple books in like exclusive editions she’s been collecting since she was a child. This would be a nice backstory if she wanted to be a detective since she was a baby and then she made Sean fall in love with mystery over the same books she used to read. Also, she’s living her biggest boss Barbie dreams and I love it for her😅

Love the way you incorporated Rose being a medium and a detective, it's always fascinating learning about how detectives (rarely) used to consult with mediums to help solve missing persons cases in the past

I love the addition of the Georgian home in the mix of these homes. It centralizes this row a little. Like you can imagine the Georgian home was there first and this all used to be farm land but then the other homes were built around it as time went on.

Thank you so much for this video today, Aden. It was an absolutely abominable day at work today, and I came home crying, stressed out, and really down in the mouth generally. Watching your video really helped me to escape reality and to sink into this friendly and cozy space that you have created with your channel. Oh wow I absolutely LOVE it! English realism at it's finest! I love the football on the roof too! When I was a kid our neighbour would keep all the kid's footballs/toys that got accidentally thrown over her fence and when you'd knock on to ask for them back she'd say no 😆 she was only about late 30s/40 the rotten hag

I'm wondering if Rose's connection to spirits is something pleasant and soothing for everyone involved, or if its something scary and unpleasant that Rose only does once its absolutely necessary. Maybe part of her power is being able to bring spirits peace/helping them pass on by solving their unresolved business for them? Lots of fun possibilities!

She loves her birds I rekon. She always says "a little birdy told me.." when we all know she found out from snooping. She just loves saying she gets all her secrets from the birds and they whisper to her as she sits with them in her garden. (Maybe even its true and her Medium powers are communing with spirits in the form of birds) Maybe that cottage living object that is the hollow tree and it allows you to befriend wild birds could be cute with this storyline.

Idea for a love interest for Detective Handsome: I imagine he goes to the local pub quite often at the end of a long days work. He's rather shy and wont speak to ladies but much prefers sitting in the corner and kind of staring off into space as he contemplates his current mysteries while drinking his whiskey. One night he notices a young woman walk in with a larger, boisterous man. They start drinking and at one point the man gets irritated and throws the young woman's drink on the floor. The barkeep tells them to take it outside and to not cause any trouble. Before leaving, the young woman makes eye contact with Detective Handsome and he sees in her eyes a cry for help. The couple leave and walk down the street. Detective Handsome sits there for a bit, perplexed by what he saw. He knows that his mother was at the hands of an abuser and so not wanting to play the bystander, he gets up and walks down the street (a little shot of courage before he leaves of course). When he turns the corner he sees the boisterous man yelling at the young woman. Detective Handsome runs up to this dude, and confronts him, telling him to respect women. They start to shove each other, and eventually punch. Detective Handsome is quite drunk at this moment but knows how to take down a big assailant, so he uses his police training stills and pins Big Guy to the floor. The guy starts yelping, asking for release, and Detective Handsome warns him to stay away from this young lady and to leave. When the big man leaves, Detective Handsome turns to the young woman, who is shaken but also angry. She asks him what his deal is, telling him she doesn’t need saving. Embarrassed, Detective Handsome apologizes and leaves. As he’s leaving, the young woman notices a business card has fallen on the street. She picks it up “Detective Handsome” with his phone number written underneath. Secretly impressed by his looks and his strength, she holds onto the card. With an abusive boyfriend and the cycles of abuse and love she will receive from this man, will she gather the strength to eventually leave him? And what role will Detective Handsome play in all of this? If finally free from the large boisterous man, will she fall back into the comforting arms of this handsome detective, or make it out on her own? And is Detective Handsome ready to put aside some time at work (and the pub) to nurture the beginning buds of a new relationship?

I think that Rose stated being a detective later in life and that she was a medium before it. I think one of the spirits she connected with early on in her mediumship (is that the word, I don’t know) was someone who was murdered. Rose made it her duty to find out what exactly happened to the spirit and in the process, fell in love with and joined the detective career!

You know the saying "a little birdie told me"? Maybe Rose, the nosy psychic gal that she is, gets her insights from birds? Idk, maybe I'm on a bird kick, but there is a president for it. Odin, a the Norse god of knowledge, had two crows (Hugin and Munin) who flew around the world each day and then whispered all that they got to know into his ears.

When Shaun was but a toddler his dad went out for smokes one day, and never returned. The talk in town was insatiable, but Rose wasn't having any of it. She went to a medium to try to find out what really happened, but to no avail. So storming ahead, Rose began investigating herself. While raising her toddler she attended night classes learning to communicate with the dead herself. At the time it was an obsession with Rose, and while she never spoke to her husband's ghost, she got exceedingly good at applying her skills in communicating with the dead to her detective work. Eventually the talk around town died down and Rose lost the urge to talk with her husband; she didn't want to confirm any of the nasty rumors around town but chose to believe he must have fallen off a cliff into a raging river on his way to the convenience store. When Shaun was closing in on his ninth birthday, a certificate came in the mail stating that Rose's marriage was officially in the past. Rose herself strives for perfection of the senses (beauty for the eyes, sweet smells to the nose, enchanting music for the ears and whatnot) and of reputation; and she has done quite a remarkable job of it. Although, there are evenings when a certain married man walks through Rose's back gate and doesn't exit until daylight shines off the stone houses of Cobblebottom Row.

And also during the divorce Rose's daughter Anna decides to wait for her dad because she doesn't want him to be alone so they move to Windenburg dad got the job as a historian and from there where he finds his lost love who was a man named Alessandro Anna doesn't care as long her dad is happy and she and Alessandro have a good relationship even she called him Papa also be still in contact with Mom and Sean who visit them to during the weekend and Anna is a good student also well during high School that's where she met Daniel Gundersen who is the son of the amusement park owner called Storybook Land and they are became high School sweethearts after long years of a relationship they are finally got married an after Daniel's parents retired so Daniel owns the amusement park frontier they have two children teenage son Drake who is soccer prayer or football and our child daughter Samantha who's is a Wizkid helping her friends finding their missing toys also have the same gift as her grandma Rose and her dream to becoming a detective someday
