Happy Birthday Aden! Have a wonderful day!! You’ve done a fab job of fitting everything in here. I reckon, the buildings were originally spread over more of the property but they had to sell off parts of the land to the government for conservation reasons. They found that it was the last known habitat of an extremely rare caterpillar. They then relocated the orangery and stables to closer to the house.

Oh I hope my comment makes sense, english is not my first language: to get rid of this awful bump the basement caused at the side (25:05), you can go to the basement, select the room and drag the arrow down (it's the same arrow that makes the house able to have foundation). This will make the basement go a bit deeper, which means a few steps more at the stairs, but it will help with the bump! I don't know if you knew this, but I figured that I should say something! I love how this is looking, gorgeous!

Beautiful build! I'm not sure if you're taking build suggestions, but I recently built a little community farm with chickens and cows (might add horses at some point), couple grow beds, and a tiny cafe on the side. I got inspiration from my neighbourhood! It's the nicest place around lol.

Great progress! Think it would make more sense for the stable entrance to be on the outside of the lot, to pretend the surrounding area (and deserted farm buildings) are pasture, rather than having the horses feed on the striped lawns!

The orangery is so beautiful! Is it possible to make the grand hall 1 or 2 tiles smaller? Just to give the orangery some breathing room. Also the hedge area with the folly reminds me of an allee in French gardens with trees along the side and views at the ends

I'm always outstanded how you make such amazingly grand feeling builds, combined with details like stables and gardens and an orangery, on such limited space, and yet it still looks harmonic. Lots of talent and a good eye for design 👌🏻

Maybe the palms were grow in the original orangery from samples taken during one of the Henford's travels. I'm thinking they went exploring to Sulanie when it wasn't a get away place but still an island paradise and each year they take a cutting so when the palm dies it can be replanted. So it's a generational thing.

I think the stable door should be on the outside so the horse has all the space out on the grounds (not on the lot) and you could have a door between the grounds keeper add on for them to get in to fill the feeder and things. Then its there but you can keep it separate from the formal gardens. I'll love what you do either way though :)

I'd say the lot size is so small because the family once owned hundreds of acres of land, but donated it to the national trust and continued to live in the house, trying to keep as much privacy and intimacy as possible despite the public now having access to their former gardens and woodlands

What if you add a few posts like you sometimes do with the fences? It could add a little more detail to the orangery and potentially help hide the gab between the half walls and roofing.

It's funny I was just watching your bagly house speed build from last year or whatever the other day where you did an orangery. I don't know much about the constraints of Sims 4 but is it possible to do glass domes? And have them not look like shit obviously because I feel like that would look great as a centre piece for that arched roof. Also could you do another set of pillars on the portico thing? Because I think just having 2 looks a bit weird when it's that wide it makes it look a bit like a table. I think it's looking great so far tho. Apart from being incredibly cramped, but there's not much you can do about that really. Also, happy birthday again for tomorrow 😂

Hi my love, I'm such a big fan! I really really love your builds. I can help you with the basement dirt on the side of the building... drop to the basement and lower the foundation with the arrow it will level the ground, and that basement won't show on the side of the build 😊
