Hi Aiden. This is the first time I’ve commented on your videos. I found you a few months ago when I was going through a really rough time. My relationship ended out of the blue and I lost my cat of 19 years all within a few months of each other…. I just wanted to say thank you. Your videos, your sass, your calming voice and quick wit and expressions have kept me sane, you’ve helped me be calm enough to sleep, made me laugh, and calmed my anxiety when I’ve felt down. You asked about our weekend... I went away for a "Girl's Weekend". Twice a year, I meet up with four other women and we rent a cabin in the woods for a weekend of fun and fellowship. We eat, talk, laugh, play and support each other through life. We've been doing it for about 25 years now. We lost a member of out crew last year to ovarian cancer, such a blow, but we continue on. We knit, puzzle, Sim, read, or scrapbook, and at night, we watch movies or play board games together. These ladies mean the world to me. This year, it was the perfect distraction before our election on Tuesday. Unfortunately, now I simply want to bury my head in the sand and play the Sims for the next four years. That's probably not the healthiest or most constructive response. Mourning in America. 😔

I couldn’t be happier to finally see an east European inspired world in the sims. I get that our cities are not always the most beautiful places but the architecture has so much charm and it translates really well to the sims. I just wish that the world was a bit bigger and had more of a town square with a church or something. They should have also put in some more of Slavic traditions inspired stuff into it instead of just going the Romani route. This region was historically incredibly diverse with Slavs having different religions, Jews, Turks and Romani all mixing together to create the unique culture. Not to mention the fact that Romania is actually more connected to France, Spain and Italy when it comes to language and their identity as a romanic nation. Slavic pagan rituals were also still popular in many east european countries in 20th century. I remember my grandparents always telling me about Dziady ritual which is sort of a Halloween but with really summoning the dead relatives or women waving flower crowns and throwing them into rivers to determine who’s gonna get married first. These are really amazing, beautiful traditions that now seem to get forever but could make for a great gameplay

Beautfiul house Aden! Hope you put the family up on the Gallery as well as the house! I had a mostly nice weekend, except on Halloween night I tripped on an extenstion cord and landed on my right knee brusing it and spraining it. It feels better and I'm taking it easy walking on it. Thanks you Aden for the update on how to say "macabre". I know a lot of spellings are different here in the U.S. than in the U.K, but never realized that particular word would be so different. Theatre vs. theater, I've seen it both ways here. Color vs. colour, but always pronounced the same way. Interesting, I always enjoy learning new things and appreciate you taking the time to share that information. I love the house build by the way and looking forward to your let's play. you forgot to view the greenhouse at the end. but i love this whole house the gameplay is amazing too i love that there is combined gameplay from the paranomal investigator pack. you can sell the spirits for money and that is cool. also if your sim die your ghost can live on or you can be reborn. and i read that some of your past achievements will be past on. maybe things you have learned in your past life. but idk what that is. i think it´s great because it covers all religions and believes.

What did I do last weekend? I spent it at the hospital because my mom wasn't feeling well. Turns out she has pneumonia and she needs to stay in the hospital for at least a week. So that was a blast and a half! Changing the subject: Isn't writing horror books a new feature with life and death expansion? Maybe Lilith could be a horror writer.

Sadly Aiden, my dad passed away at 72. He was still so young! And not sick either; no cholesterol, high blood pressure or high blood sugar. On the 30th of September 2015, my mom was calling me at 23h30 to tell me he had cancer and on the 28th of October 2015, he let go of his last breath holding my hand. It went so fast! Take all the opportunities you can to spend time with your family because you never know when they are that age what can come upon them. 💖💖💖💖💖
