Awesome, thanks for detailing this, your work is great. What do you do when you make a mistake hand painting with the acrylics?

Thanks so much!! I really appreciate that. When I make a mistake with water-based acrylics I typically use isopropyl alcohol on a fine cotton swab or brush to slowly remove it! But I think the most effective thing I could do would be to just suck it up and mask 😅

@@LiamsHobbyRoom Yeah, im constantly torn for little bits on masking vs hand painting with enamels. Ive never thought about using acrylics, which would be easier to brush and dry a lot faster. Thanks for chiming in.

I love that paint scheme, looks so wild with the pink and purple. I had a bunch of questions in regards to painting and they pretty much all got answered in this video. You always see other people talk about doing the gloss coat, but I didn't know if it should be each piece individually, or an area at a time, like each leg, arm, head. Also with priming, do you need to clean your airbrush tip between filling the cup with more primer? Doing a whole kit takes awhile, and I wasn't sure if I should be cleaning the brush tip when I add more or just keep going.

Thank you very much!! I'm happy I could answer some of your questions. This is just the way I do it, you don't have yo coat every segment individually but I've found i can more easily spray and keep track of what has been sprayed if I do, as well as give good coverage! As far as cleaning between cup loads, I will percolate thinner in the cup between coats (even coats of the same color) to make sure nothing dries in there, and yes sometimes I will clean the nozzle and shroud as well. Perhaps a bit paranoid, but it's never steered me wrong!

I'm pretty sure if I didn't wear a respirator my lacquer paints would kill me haha I like to use very thin coats, and I typically thin my *core colors* ahead of time and keep them for multiple projects, so actually I'd say there's much less waste! But it really depends on your process!
