Great work! I use the same make-up sponge technique to do my weathering. I tend to really go to town though.

That finished model looks absolutely outstanding! I am itching to try building a Gundam of some sort, but I've still got 3 unfinished jets on the bench, and have barely had a moment to work on any of them since December.

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that. I hope you enjoy building a Gunpla kit!! I recommend the HGUC RX-78-2 Gundam (Revive) or the HGUC Zaku II (newer version). They give a great experience of what Gunpla is all about :)

Another killer job dude. Excellent point about the solvents on your joints. I was working on a kit the other day and had separated all of the parts. I started lining with a pour type on some light gray parts not realizing they were ABS the solvents will react chemically with ABS in particular. The plastic just crumbled in my hands. It's worse when you know and complacency gets you 😭

Insane before and after as usual! Great series. The final pink colour scheme was on point. Can you use just decal setting solution without the setter?

Thank you so much!! Yes, you totally can. I personally just like the decal to have a bit of tack to it so it doesn't slide or reposition at all when I use my softener. But by all means, solvaset is an amazing product that stands up on its own!
