Amazing how you are able to visualize the characters as you’re drawing the lines on the wood. Then as you begin to cut the characters slowly begin to take form. I enjoy watching you work.

I just started carving and im loving these 1 by 2 carves. Great video, although do you think you can show the model half way through like a 360 of it. I keep missing the odd detail that I have to do at the end. I also added some breath holes in the masks for mine by jabbing the knife tip in. Adds a little more to the face I think. :)

Hey! It's in the video description. I use knives from a Russian smith named Sergei Belov. I bought mines a while ago and with the current state of affaire I doubt it's possible to buy any.
