We have those flowers in Canada as well! Ottawa (our nations capital) actually hosts an annual tuilip festival! we are sent 100,00 tuilip bulbs each year by the Netherlands as gratitude for sheltering princess juliana during Nazi occupation of world war 2! her daughter, princess Margriet was actually born in Ottawa.
