I totally get what you said about your "forever" home, I bought one a similar time as you did and I loved watching your videos because we were renovating it as you were building and don't get me wrong I absolutely love it but it definitely surprised me how I felt after it was all done, not what I was expecting at all. Try and get to Noosa (2 hours drive north of Brisbane) for a few nights if you can. You'd all love the National Park walk (coast track to Hell's Gate) and swimming at Little Cove. It's beautiful :)
