So happy to see you back!! I retired early from teaching....LOVED it...but needed to retire....and became a housewife. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the housewife life!! I got such satisfaction and joy from having my family come home to warm, home cooked meals, clean clothes in their drawers, and a comfortable clean environment in their home. The days when chaos erupts are hectic, crazy, sometimes frustrating....but I wouldn't change it for the world. Everything the world said I should NOT do as a "modern" woman, ( stay at home and be a "maid" ) turned out to be the most rewarding and most satisfying to my soul. The mom guilt I experienced while working dissipated ....and yes, while our finances took a hit, the changes that we had to make for budgetary reasons don't compare to the joy I found at home. Looking forward to you sharing recipes, cleaning tips, and anything else you share. Those things are IMPORTANT.....I am so proud to be a housewife. It is a hard, yet honorable profession. I'm so glad you are finding happiness!! WELCOME back!!

I’m happy to see you!!!! Being a stay at home IS a job with an entire purpose, only society has downplayed it.. I would LOVE to see how you manage a house. I’m a single mom with two chronic illnesses, I homeschool, and work full time from home; I need all the inspiration!

I still think you can add really valuable input in the teaching community! All your years and experience, so many of us learned so much from you! I would love to continue to see simple lesson ideas, book recommendations things like that. I still think you have a very relevant voice There are many teachers on Instagram who don’t teach anymore but still put content out so I hope you will consider it again. You were always my favorite because your approach may not have been high tech but i really valued your simple approach ( that is meant to be a compliment). Please reconsider!

Yay! I can’t wait to see your new content! As a former teacher who is also dealing with chronic health issues but wants to maintain my house and take care of my family, you are super relatable!

Yey! I would totally watch your videos (home and health). Though I teach , I love my home and cleaning 🧹 And my hubby deals with chronic pain due to back surgery, so I do most of house work and cooking, which I find relaxing....All this to say I would MOST DEFINITELY watch your videos about home-care and self-care. Thank you , sending love from Cali 🏖

Tina! So glad you see you back and well. I loved watching your teaching videos, that’s how I found your channel. Can’t believe it’s been two years since you left teaching. I recently “left” teaching. Mainly because I loved out of State and so many things happened in between I never looked for a job. So I became a “housewife” and I totally agree with you about loving keeping my house clean and organized. My husband finds it funny that I’m always looking for ways to organize the pantry or buying cute containers lol. He appreciates it though and just lets me be lol. Anyway, so happy to see you back. Also, hope your tv interview went well! 💪🏼

Hello from Australia. I was so happy to see your video. I am glad you are feeling better, chronic illness is the worst and trying to keep on top of it with meds and the rest is always hard. I am an Early Childhood Teacher and work full time, firstly with the babies and now with toddlers aged 2-3. I have been through what you have been through with feeling burnout and the like, and funnily enough it is not the Children, it is the constant planning, recording of details and observations as well as trying to deal with being bullied. I nearly stepped away from it all this week, but my wonderful director picked up on it and moved me to a different room. I have now found new inspiration, hopefully I will be able to stay for another couple of years, but to be honest I would never again work in a day care centre.

I'm so glad to see you. I also kind of shocked to hear about how many surgeries you have endured recently. Wow! I understand completely why you have chosen to postpone the other knee surgery. I too was a preschool teacher for 18 years. I loved those babies so much and took little, to no days of school off because I wanted to be with the children as much as I could. I watched your's and other teaching channels constantly for new ideas and inspirations (thank you for generous ideas and time you gave to us all). Kind of mirroring you, I also have 4 different autoimmune diseases I have been battling. I found myself starting to cut activities out of my school plans, because I was just too tired or it was too hard for me to do them, I knew this wasn't fair to the students and the trust the parents had put into me to take care and teach their children. I have now been home for 2 years as well. I missed the class as well for the first year and still do some at times. I'm very happy at home concentrating on some of my hobbies and taking care of my family. The point of this long comment... I'm looking to your new content. I've enjoyed you as a teacher and I know I will also enjoy getting to know you as modern housewife and mom. Welcome back.
