That's a reasonable deal! Nice that your son does that for you! When we were in Anchorage, Tommy needed an oil change and the dealer there wanted a ridiculous amount for the 3 hole change, so he ended up with just the one. I had shipped an oil kit to Alaska so I could change my oil. Probably not too many Spyders get their oil changed at the North Pole! 😂😂😂

I was wondering about those drain plugs. I do not think I would trust those bolts with the recessed Hex heads or whatever they were. Great upgrade! I always had a hard time with those two piece plastic pins. Great video.

Yep, learned my lesson with the Torquey Fella...luckily we were able to tap out the plug. So decided to "fix" my 2023 with the first oil change that we did...dealer did the first one at 3000 miles...thanks so much, Jerry! 💜🤗🙏🏼

I have the LaMonster plugs from Show Chrome, makes life way easier. I like your throttle assist as well. I just gotta get one. Wish I was as strong as ole Tom. You know what, I have the same problem reading 'the stick', so I go with 5 quarts and add 8oz, that has to work, not too full, but full enough. Reading that dip stick is a hassle. Kudos on the change. 2020 RTL

That throttle assist is called a cramp buster and sometimes I just rest my palm on there for a change. Do you struggle with getting that dipstick out like I do? Or just reading it? I can't get it out by myself. Shouldn't be that way. 🤷‍♀️

@@PurpleOnThree I do use the cruise control, but there are so many areas on the journey you cannot, especially if you want to sniff the flowers. I was checking the Cramp Buster on Amazon, for about $11 it probably a good buy. I have no problem getting the dip stick out, it's just the checking. Maybe BRP made the 2023 f3 a bit more difficult than my 20 RTL. Never know about BRP they do some strange things. That's where SlingMods and the rest of those 'accessory' people enter the 'spend more money' come into play. 🙂

Just, how does a highly educated and highly paid engineer, look at an oil dip stick, and say “ I can’t see the fresh oil level, on this dip stick. “ Then Quality Control, even higher paid, comes in, checks the oil dip stick. And says, “ Yes, i see the problem, not good. But it’s too late to change it now . How? Why ? What ? I’m surprised that all of the Can Am mechanics haven’t forced a change. 🤔🙄.
