Todd the decals look good, but I still like the all black hood and orange hood screens, but that's me , I owned a 650 and I didn't like the decals when I owned it I pull all the decals and polished it to a mirror finish and that's how I road it until I sold it .

That's a slippery slope. All black is just perfect, but she's a 650 with a turbo 😮. It's definitely a headlight reminder of what's under the hood. After that its whats stylish and fits 😎 ✨️

From a decal perspective on older Indy sleds, this same thing was done in the '97-'98 years of the XCR 440 with the red hood. Swapping the white decals for yellow and updating the number to reflect the larger motor within. Many had 700 cc motors installed. They were more powerful and reliable without the early VES system. What you are building looks incredible and replacing the 650 with TURBO would be very fitting.

The decals look great! I'm still no decals on this lol. The decision to go mixed gas seems like a great idea. I never even thought of the fuel/oil ratio when the electric pump is switched on. I bet the exhaust will sound amazing and I also believe the trail ability will be more achieved with your homemade can! I got my 93 xcr 440 serviced and yard ride today! Merry Christmas!!

I see pipe siting on a flange sitting on the bench. Take pipe off the flange set flange on turbo and port match the flange to the turbo. Then take that flange and massage round pipe into that square turbo port. Massage,shrink, pie cut, stretch, ect or get a round to square turbo flange. P.s. you need 3 EGT kit. Or you’ll burn this down. Ps hope I’m not over stepping.

The decals sure make it pop! Sweet! Wonder if you could get a small amount of the lighter blue elsewhere on the sled? Especially towards the back to help it look more “balanced” color wise. Ex. About the hot 🔥 side turbo, if you cut some pie pieces out of the square to round bit, you can make a very good transition without a bunch of crazy work and it'll flow great. Theres a few video's on the welding utube world, it's where I learned it! Personally, I would paint the control arms black and leave the springs orange and I would put that Indy 650 decal under the headlight down on the nosecone, but I understand it’s embossed with Polaris already
