Of course, I'm smitten by the Campbell's paintings in the background! Makes me feel right at home! lol!! Really amazed by the strength of the color you're getting from these, especially the "As if." Wow. Nice presentation on this one. But honestly, I don't think I could ever pull these off nearly as well as you. lol! :)

Haha well thank you for the support either way! I’m thinking of breaking out the watercolors this week and filming some paintings. I can feel the itch. I just “switched mediums” when it comes to makeup.

I have missed a whole bunch of your videos. I came on here and looked to see if you posted anything and I found this video from a month ago!!!! Sorry that for whatever reason KZbin just doesn’t recommend your videos to me. Even though I have Everything checked properly 🤬😡🤯😠🤬! It’s infuriating sometimes I tell you!!! I’m still struggling with my RSD/ CRPS but, taking it one day at a time and not letting it win. I loved 🥰 the two looks you created with this palette 🎨 very rain-bowie🌈 (get it)…that was just for you ☺️. I was trying to pick which one was my favorite but, I like them equally the whole look is great together … in my eyes. Gosh I’ve missed your vids. That’s why I went looking glad I did. When I think about the 80s,for some reason I think about bright neons. But when I think back to the eyeshadow palettes I actually used back around 1987, when I first started using makeup at age 14, I was using eyeshadow from Maybelline and Cover Girl that had a bright sky blue, lilac purple, pastel pink, aqua mint green. I think one of the palettes had a bright pastel yellow. I didn't see anyone wear bright, primary colors, with the exception of electric blue eyeliner, as well as mascara. Blush was placed as a diagonal line that underlined the cheekbone. Brows weren't really more than an afterthought. I used a brow pencil to just add some extra color, but didn't really think about shape. The 80s were amazing and it was great to grow up in a decade with amazing music and MTV, when music videos played non stop and were like mini movies! I was obsessed with 80s music back then and still am. My kids are too. That music has withstood the test of time. The 90s were an interesting time. The hip hop movement became huge. Coffee shop music started to emerge. I think we saw more of a divide as far as music went.i was un college in the early 90s and remember a very "beige" trend. A lot of neutral, pale tan shades and denim sundresses and flare jeans. As the 90s wore on,I think it became fashionable to be tacky as the 90s gave way to the early 2000s, where the playboy bunny look reigned supreme. I hope never to see that again!! Being 49, I feel I have seen it all...and see things come back around. There are some trends that shouldn't ever come back! Beware of the skinny brow!

You described it so perfectly. I feel like in the 80s all I had was drugstore stuff ( probably cause we were kids ). I really loved roller ball gloss, and I wore a lot of teal liner for some reason. 90s was brown lips and shadow. I got into the rave and club scene thing so I was into a lot of glitter and glue on gems and frosty eye looks. City Color has a new palette out called Grunge,you'd maybe get a kick out of its 90s theme.
