Haha! I said to Matt, I knew he picked that song because it's so rock and roll. 🤦♀️

Thanks for sharing as always Aubrey and being so open. I have similar issues at work as all support staff are facing redundancy and having to fight for their jobs. My job is not affected but it’s hard to see all my colleagues struggling and being in the office I am the hub of the school and everyone always comes to me when they have issues. That’s great but it can be very draining and as I’m the only person in a very busy office, I spend the day manically trying to do everything but I still manage to feel lonely! Luckily for me, from September, I am dropping some hours to look after my granddaughter. I will be doing full days Tues, Wed and Thurs and a half day on Fridays. It’s come at just the right time as I need to be away from the negativity and stress, and I love spending time with Isabela, she makes me so happy. I can’t comment on chronic pain as I have no understanding of what that is like but I admire you for pushing through it and continuing to be creative despite the pain. I , for one am very grateful to be part of your community and I’m so glad that you have Matt and he supports you through everything. It makes my heart sing to get to know you both, so again, thank you so much for sharing 💜💜💜

Ugh, 'redundancy.' That is the word our director has been using. I loathe it. I can imagine that is hard to witness that. It's how I felt when we had layoffs. I remember coming home and crying, over the people laid off and I didn't even know most of them. And thank you for sharing. There are so many ways we can feel lonely at the muggle job, and in general, and sad that we have to fight so hard. I'm SOOOOO excited for you and that you get to drop those hours! Because that negativity and stress is draining. I'm so grateful to know you too, Justine! Thank you for your kindness and support, always. 💖

I love those food warmers...we have 2 when traveling. Made ramen in it and kept a variety of foods warm.

(2 years after my severe body failure and living with chronic pain, i'm also starting makeup again and I like lipstick now... 😄😉) Wish everything will work out with your muggle job schedule and mostly with no more pain!! Thank you and Matt and Greetings 🪄👋

Yaaaaay!!!! I'm learning lipstick alone is a journey of finding which one works for what I like. But that's the fun of the experimentation process, right? Thank you for sharing your story! And thank you for all the love and support, as always. Greetings to ya, Mieke! 😃👋

Dang it I somehow missed this on Friday boooo. I don’t know how you survive without air conditioning, I couldn’t do it. Thanks for the update and sharing with us. It’s always nice to know we are not alone in our struggles.

Dang it, I somehow forgot to reply! hehe Seriously, I thought I replied. Oh Aubrey. That was my hope, to share and in sharing let others know they aren't alone in facing life's struggles.

I live in a one bedroom apartment and storage is limited. I have utilized my doors to hang many things. I bought an over the door hook hanger to put my broom and other hanging stuff on my bathroom door. I have another one over my closet door for scarves and hats. I would recommend one or two of those for the work outfits. You can even get two of them for each side of the door to hang multiple outfits. I think prepping work outfits is a great idea! I used to do that also for a different job and absolutely yes it does lessen stress. Thankfully I am at a different job where I can dress more casual. I can even eat my breakfast and put my makeup on at work so stress is much lower in the mornings for me. So, continue to do you. Do anything that will help YOU girl.

Also, I do not know much about chronic pain; however, I would recommend looking into massage for the TMJ maybe. It may be beneficial.

An over the door hook is one I've considered, just haven't found the 'right' one yet. 😊 Ironically, stress is lower for me in the mornings too, even though I'm not a morning person. I get there an hour early (before anyone is there) to do my makeup and eat breakfast. It's when the people arrive that it feels challenging. 😂 And thank you! I've already looked into one and have a specialist in TMJ who does massage therapy. Sadly, I can't afford that at the moment or have the time to travel to him.

@@BeyondLoveLumos those hangers aren't easy. I made many mistakes not looking at dimensions and then the hangers would not fit. I have found some cute ones at 5 Below as well as Amazon. Have your dimensions ready! 😆😄

I'm so sorry to hear about your TMJ/chronic pain and fatigue. I did wonder what was going on, but didn't want to ask (as it's none of my business unless you bring it up). It's very open of you to share what you're going through 💜. It's crazy to me that a doctor would tell you "Well, that's all we can do. Bye" :((. I hope you can see a different doctor who is willing to investigate more. I have TMJ on the right side of my jaw, but it's nowhere near as bad as yours. It mostly only bothers me when I'm at the dentist, because I can't open my mouth very wide or for very long without it being uncomfortable. (I have three crowns, and I've had them all re-done multiple times, which is not fun). Thanks for sharing! I hope you get some answers. Dumbledore said it best: "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."

Omg. I just came from your owl post video where you got the key chain that has that Dumbledore quote! I swear I watched this video first and didn't mean to be repetitive xP. It's a great quote though, you can never really hear it too often 😋

Thank you, Alex! Right?! I'm considering switching doctors just to get a second opinion. Same here on one side. TMJ Disorder (since technically everyone has TMJ) is more commonly on one side (though can be on both). I've heard of others, like you, where the issue pops up here and there. So it sort of blows my mind why I have so much pain and so much beyond my jaw and head. Some part of me wonders if there's something else. I don't know really. That is one of my favorite quotes and a go-to that I often share with others.
