56:16 - Thats two videos where I've seen people damage the _'back panel'_ when removing it, the first the guy didn't realise until too late that you only pop the top before sliding it off... he just prised the whole thing wrecking the clips. I think Supernote might have to revisit the back panel as I can see more being damaged.

I should have been more cautious, they even sent me a video on how to do it. I just got excited on stream and went for it. Nothing a little super glue can't fix haha, I think I want to customize it now 🖊. I'd rather me mess mine up and someone learn from it

@@VladimirKostek I didn't realised until recently, just how cheap 3D printers have become, maybe thats an option and you can really get into come customisation! I for one am glad I saw it, for I have no doubt I would've just torn the back right off... done it numerous times before on other devices, I really think Supernote will have to address this as watching others... it really doesn't look easy even when done correctly.

Yeah, it was very difficult to listen to such good information. Although this wasn't the true audio problem here, I'd suggest a dedicated microphone over a headset microphone. Even the best video game headset microphones aren't even close in quality to a good dedicated microphone.

I always attach a pair of loops on my notebooks so that the pen doesn't budge at all. I should add a note about that on their Trello board.

Oh, did you break your back cover? I think I saw an official video somewhere that you need to pop the bottom up then slide the whole thing down, rather than trying to pop the whole thing up.

I'm considering getting both suggested pens: LAMY safari vista EMR Pen and Heart of Metal Pen 2. 🤔

HOM2 is great for writing, and LAMY is more ergonomic for drawing. So I approve of your decision haha

That's a tough one for writing HoM2, for Drawing probs the Lamy after I got my calibration issue fixed!

It has no front nor back light, and that's intentional. I prefer a front light, but I bought the Manta anyway.

I feel very satisfied that both Supernote and reMarkable’s new models have changed so many things. They have both shoved a metaphorical sock in the mouths of every annoying person on Reddit who asked “what exactly do you think needs changing?” whenever someone asked about the ETA of the A5X2 or rM3. Uh, how about something better than Carta 1000 for starters? Even the Kobo Elipsa models have it.

Hey Brian, I don't think there is a better option right now than the Manta, especially if it's your first. It will last a very long time with the sustainability/repairability and modularity in mind. The software is top tier for organization too. The Viwoods is a sleek device but the software needs a bit of work still since it's a new company. Hi everyone, I recently bought a boox go 10.3 to replace my remarkable but I can't seem to get it right. 1) is it possible to organize the folders like on the remarkable with notes, PDFs and books within the same folder? 2) is it possible that by highlighting a text in "yellow" the gray of the highlighting almost completely covers the character of the text? 3) is there a good application to transfer files?
