Let's Chop on The Akai FORCE

Chopping up a sample on the Akai Force. I used the ARP function on note repeat mode (8th notes) to do the drums.
There's a macro on one of the knobs that simultaneously activates Flavor Pro on the master bus and mutes the drum track.

It's a fun way to lay down drums. It also kind of trains you to play on time.

Use shift and arp then select pattern. You can create midi patterns like hi hat rolls and other things to speed up workflow and give happy accidents. I forgot how I did it but also created progressions using scaler 2 in the MPC software and imported it to the force to have custom progressions in the notes menu for chords.
