Well, I wouldn't remove the CPU and the RAM modules until completely blow away the dust. I nearly binned a RAM module, because it turned out that I blew some dust into the slot and the system failed to recognize it. Also, I would keep these PGA processors in the socket, during thermal paste removal, especially the hardened one. Placing the CPU on the pins and rubbing it could be a recipe for disaster. Otherwise, excellent job! I really enjoyed the transformation!

hehehe this is my very first video, so be sure about that I did lot of improvements in the cleaning process video after video. But one thing I'm still doing is that I still remove the RAM before cleaning. I think you are pretty right about this, I will reconsider this. It's great to know you enjoyed this video Hristo! Let's see, what we have today 🤔 It is not too bad 🙂. 05:24 To avoid accidental bent CPU pins I clen it inside its socket on motherboard and when done I take it out to check status + dedust if need be and returnnit back 😁. 06:19 Sometimes dust accumulazes so much inside the fan that fan struggles (just a tip for everyone to check if fan is spinning freely with finger test and later under power). 10:10 I suggest you add a warning when opening power supply (PSU) because that big condensers can hold a lot of power and can kill you if not carefull❗ Great video 😁. Honestly ASMR type videos I do not like but this like cleaning type is one of few things I like 🤓.

I'm trying to find a guide on how to put it back but I can't look for one since I don't know what it's called. Can you tell me what that part is called? Also good luck from Turkey!
@french.satisfactory2 жыл бұрын
Hi LuLuTheCat, if you are talking about the black plastic part on the processor heatsink, there is no fixation, no screws. As I remember, you just have to put it here. It is held in place by the cables you fix on it. I don''t think there is a specific name for this. Is that answer to you question? if you really need it, I can send you pictures by email. Thanks for your encouragement ❤️

Hi playtrack22! I'm not doing anything on the software part. The goal of my channel is to clean the PCs (in a satisfying way I hope) and give back them to their owners after that to give them a second life. Of course I'm already thinking about make more content like Hardware upgrade because I can make it in a satisfying way as well, but don't think I will do anything on the software part in the future. But yeah... who knows ? This is just speculation, I can't really know what will be this channel in 1 year, I can only give you guesses. Thanks for watching so much of my videos, and thanks again for all your comment ❤️ All of this help so much this channel to grow ❤️❤️

The motherboard may be a non-standard layout in a compact case like this, so it might not be possible to fit a newer board. If upgrading the current motherboard, there might not be many options for a faster CPU that will fit the socket. Seems to be Socket AM2, so maybe the best that can be fitted is an Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 6400+ (online sources suggest the maximum may be the 5200+). It's going to be fairly power-hungry, not necessarily cheap, and 15 years old.

Hi Zia Hanif, Good question, and hard to answer it because I didn't keep the exacts references of this motherboard. You can find here all the HP documentations about this model. support.hp.com/fr-fr/product/hp-compaq-dc5750-small-form-factor-pc/3253421/manuals You should find what are the CPU limits there.

Well when i am saying "your comments" I was thinking about the comments I received about this topic. not only from you. On my side I will start to wash the chassis and heatsinks with water and soap. So decided to work on the other parts of the video first. But for sure I will add this in a near futur.
