For carbomer, it wouldn't thicken till you activate it with TEA or Sodium hydroxide. With just few drops it with thicken up ma. The aristoflex looks like the regular egde control. probably when used àt 1.5%, it would be suitable for edge control.

I thought we can only use glycerin to dissolve polimers oo. I never knew water can disolve xantan gum

@@MensahAlberta-h7k glycerin helps to dissolve them faster while water hydrates them, that’s why I agitated the water while i added them.

TEA or Sodium hydroxide will increase its pH and this may affect the formulation it’s used in.

Hello Ma, please i want to use carbomer in my shower gel because im incorporating clay into it and i want the clay to suspend rather than settling at the bottom, pls how can i make carbomer thicken up in my formulation. Pls help a sister😢😢
