This group from Australia is incredible! They have a deep pool of musicians that they pull from in their videos, so nothing seems to be out of reach for them.

Another one of my favorites. This group of artists is lead by the bassist named Con who is a master of his craft. Most of these artists can also sing lead including Brad the drummer and Jordan the back up vocals with the beard. Even the sound engineers are masters of what they do. It will be hard to find any flaws with the music these guys put out! Great job with this one Jeff! ~Scott~

Hey Jeff, I'm glad to see that you've gone back to using stills from the actual video for the thumbnail, instead picking one of the little set of reactions that you were using for awhile. This feels more genuine and gives a better feel for what the video's going to be like. Great track, too. Enjoyed this one.

They're based in Adelaide, South Australia. Started in 2017. They release a new cover every week. They had a co-principal split-up in 2021. Their cover of Christopher Cross's "Ride like the Wind" (2018) is really good. On the day of the recording, the intended singer was sick. The (then) co-principal/keyboards player/sometimes singer (they have a big pool of vocalists), Darren Mullen, knew the song but had never sung it. He stepped up and had a go at it. I like his performance, and the lead guitarist, Stefan Hauk, is an exciting player. CC heard their cover and left a favourable comment about it. Their cover of Tears For Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule The World" (2019) is excellent too.

You do realize, Jeff, that now that we have discovered another cover band of this caliber? That ultimately there will HAVE to be a "Battle of the Bands" between them and Leonid and maybe one other of their ilks! Imagine an outdoor event - like we all used to go to when we were still "yoots". It could be an all day thing - with each band taking turns playing all the great songs we all love. I'd buy a ticket and even travel if the locale chosen offered fun things aside from just the concert.

@@StrateleStudios Works for me. It would be like attending a concert with all the greatest of the past come back to visit - for one more time, go 'round on the stage. Whoever produced it would have to be superb - and careful - about the choice of the venue as well as the state it was held in. I would opt for one of the freer, less totalitarian states like Texas or Florida - not California, which sadly has so many ridiculous regulations that to pull it off would make The Nightmare on Elm Street seem like a walk down Easy Street with every useless bureaucrat, apparatchik, sticking their noses in it to justify their useless positions. But, that's way beyond my mien and pay grade. Besides, I've already done the heavy lifting, hard work - I thought up the idea! LOL

The name Hindley Street Country Club is rather an Adelaide "in joke". A country club is something you would NOT find on Hindley Street, a side street off the "main drag" in the Adelaide CBD that has always had a slightly "less reputable" reputation. Whilst there have always been "regulars" at various points of HSCC's history, line-ups will vary according to the requirements of the songs being recorded and singer/musician availabilty.

The two founders of the band (one of which is the bass player in this video) had a major falling out. The other founder, Darren Mullen, created his new band called Singit Live. Several of the better players/singers moved with him to that band. They are on KZbin, as well. And I've heard Hindley pronounced with a long "i", as in hind end.

That’s my problem this was to close to the original, now of course it’s good and they covered it really well but would of liked to have heard something slightly different to give a different interpretation to the song perhaps in the same way that Aurora did with her interpretation of life on Mars,

They're from Australia. Good review of a quality performance. These guys are of course above average, but they some times take liberties with tunes that suggest that they think they are (I hate to say) smarter than the original artist. A few times their rendtions go too far away from the original, distracting or not complementary. Check out Sing It Live another Australian band that does equally as good or better work than these guys.
