Keep in mind you rotate the ccv on, not press clip when you follow… Great vid.

Same with working on it. The better half is even starting to like it. Such a nice car despite the miles. I’ll die on the hill of a 250k car is better than a 150k mile car.

Hi there, I'm currently replacing my intake boots and they are original. How did you manage to take off that one hose clamp on the lowet boot? I've been trying to take it off for awhile now, but just haven't been able to.

It helps if you unclip the suction pipe that goes over to the brake booster. With that out of the way, I start with the small hose clamp to the ICV then the throttle body clamp. Combination of a small stubby screw driver then regular size worked well. Once it’s loose you can rotate the clamp to get better access. You might also be able to use a socket and 1/4” ratchet on the hose clamp as well.

@@robsweekendgarage Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately I didn't have a stubby screw driver on me so I just used a 1/4 ratchet with a 6mm socket on it, I had to remove the cabin air filter and the heat shield for the ecu to the right in order to just barely be able to loosen the ICV's hose clamp; +1 new intake boot - the skin on my knuckles 😂
