Random Fun Fact: This is the heaviest Kamen Rider suit to date. It used actual chains on the suit and Mr. Kamen Rider himself Seiji Takaiwa said it was a personal hell to work in said suit.

In real, Denlainer Form Den-O and Decade is more heavier, but because their weight is evenly distributed over the body, it was much easier to carry them. The whole problem of Kiva's suit was precisely the chain on one leg.

Love the drawing and the commentary, I agree with kiva being in a good middle spot of serious and goofy. and yes it has the problems of literally discarding characters, my favorite character has almost no lines :( poor Basha trap

Kivat sounds a lot like Saba from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The introduce him when they revealed the White Ranger and made this magical talking sword seem like he was going to be Tommy's sidekick, but they forgot all about him after like three episodes. Then in season three they had this moment where Saba talks again after like 40 episodes of him keeping his mouth shut. And I swear he basicly said "I'm here too!" So basically I am saying let's have a Kiva/Saba spinoff show, maybe a buddy cop duo?

Kamen Rider Kiva is the only Kamen Rider series I've watched so far. And I love it! With my gf we wanted to try a Kamen Rider series so we've watched a video with all Kamen Rider openings, and the Kiva one was so catchy both visually and musically we choosed it. Now that you've said it the Spawn-likeliness may took a role in that since I love Spawn too. I really need to find time to watch other Kamen Rider shows. About drawings, I would love to watch you draw Luka from Gokaiger when she swing her sabers around with the hooks. (ps: Sorry for my lousy english, it's not my native language).

I love the Gothic theming (I actually liked the stained glass look...creative style and I didn't think it made them look TOO similar). 3) I picked up a little of Barry Kramer's style in this...intentional or coincidental?
