Man the torso’s are difficult. I mean I got the legs and arms down decent enough. But the torso is rather weird for me. So I appreciate this video. I love these long videos. So much wonderful information to give in depth understanding

That's interesting, for me, the arms are the hardest. But I get what you're saying, drawing torsos with gesture is quite challenging. I'll continue making more long form content like this if people enjoy it. Thanks as always KIKO.

Nice video, I think the way you choose to simplify things is really helpful

Thanks, this was really helpful. it's easy to construct a figure using this technique. I'm using it for muscle studies and it's working 100% for me as a beginner

can you make a video using force in poses from imaagination, similar to your reference video
@HadesPsd Жыл бұрын
I think that could be a cool video, maybe I'll use spider-man as a theme for the poses.

It's pretty much the basic round brush, but with an elliptical shape. Ive downloaded 1000s of brushes, so i'm not sure where i got it, but ahmed aldoori has one of these elliptical brushes in his free brush pack on gumroad.

Hii Hades, can you make a video in the future about arms and legs too?🙏
@HadesPsd Жыл бұрын
Yes, I'll be covering all that in the future.

Did you learn how to do this from will Weston?
@sevynsyx2574 Жыл бұрын
I have a few more questions so like are you ok with me asking them? I really like how you draw torsos and would know what you did to get to that level to draw them like that so quick and easy.😅

I'm a combination of Michael Hampton (a bit) , Will Weston, TB Choi and Force Drawing. Will Weston, in my opinion, has the best anatomy simplification, so I used his instagram notes to make anatomy easier for myself. The way I draw is mostly influenced by Force Drawing, it's probably had the largest impact on my drawing skills, but it can be challenging to understand (but very worth it if you're willing to study it). TB Choi studied force drawing, so I spent time looking at her class notes and youtube videos. If you have any other Q's, i'll try and answer.

@@HadesPsd what do you suggest "in order" i study to be able to get to a level like yours(and how much time i should spend on each too)? Im super interested in the way you draw and this would be a huge game changer if i can reached this level cause i've kinda been lost and wondering everywhere with my anatomy. (also im in your discord so i will be able to post progress as i go along too)

@@sevynsyx2574 Thats a hard question to answer. I would really encourage you to keep practising gesture, I learnt pretty much everything from the Force Drawing youtube channel. And what you see here in this video is what I did to study anatomy. I would draw figures from reference and draw the anatomy on top. Ofcourse, I wasn't very good back then, but i've drawn thousands of figures at this point. It just takes time and effort. Spend whatever time you need. Also you can learn faster by copying figure drawings from professionals (I will make a video on this).
