Let's dress a tiny country church with spring wildflowers for an April wedding

This is the loveliest type of wedding. Wild flowers in this pretty church. No waste , friendly to the earth . Leaves such a peaceful feeling for everyone who attends. And it’s beautiful! I do follow Sustainable Church flowers…. Such wonderful ideas. Speaking of wonderful ideas , leaving a small arrangement for a war memorial, respectful and lovely . My daughter and I own a local floral studio and we grow as much as we can, forage and of course buy from our local flower farmers. I so enjoy your channel. Yes 30 guests is so sheik🌾😉

What a gifted lady you are! You seem to me the kind of Christian who is known by her love for the birds and their birdsong. All this talk about Climate change and no one wants to tackle alternatives to /reduction of plastic wrappers . I am an Irish Catholic but have always loved English literature. Am enjoying the inspirational letters of CS Lewis and an anthology of wisdom nuggets by George MacDonald. During Covid l used the Diary of an Edwardian Lady to learn the names of wild flowers.

oh my Georgia how gorgeous this wedding will be, and how lovely it was to join you as the venue was being prepared. I have recently been cutting some brightly colored leafy-limbs and using the whatever is available theme for the day - I am not clear on why most of the limbs sag and droop by the end of day one, and at the end of their beauty by 24 hours. If anyone can direct me on this? Thank you!

You may be cutting young growth which is softer and can be prone to drooping. Select woodier stems that are firmer and along with an nice angled cut on the bottom, take one vertical snip from the cut upwards as if you were going to cut the stem in half lengthwise. It's a little trick that allows the stems to take up water better. Hydrate in a bucket of deep water in a cool place overnight and you should be good to go. Redo the cuts when you are using the stems in your arrangements so that they can continue to take up plenty of water.
