Well it's Glasto weekend here in sunny Somerset. So let's get into the vibe with some festival flowers for Number One Bruton and a flower crown for me. Here's your #30stemchallenge for the weekend friends and lots of ideas for cutting and creating with flowers at this time of year.

Your flower arrangement was so on key with the grasses and textures but the sweet peas and chawton roses really made it whole...with that gorgeous sap green pot. You'd look perfect at Glastonbury with gumboots and a flower crown. Superb, as the french say, Jo. Enjoy the music from afar😊

I love this time of year for flowers. There is so much variety in the garden atm. I live in 🌞 Somerset, not too far from Pilton. We went to Glasto in 2019. ..in our 60s..... better late than never. It's a beautiful arrangement, and I love the soundtrack, too.

they don't last long when cut fully out - but luckily they flower again almost the same day so you'll have plenty x

I don't touch anything after cow parsley Georgie, I have to wear long sleeves when clearing Nicotiana or I get a rash and also with pine needles from the Xmas tree. Better to be safe! I love the crown, very beautiful. My daughter had a flower crown when she got married and she looked like a fairy princess!

I just started making flower crowns. I use raffia three long pieces, braid them, soak it in water. Then I wrap the flowers on the braid. Your crown is much more beautiful than mine. Inspiration thank you.

I feel exactly the same about Fourth of July fireworks. So, this Thursday I will step out of my house to a nearby hill and watch the high burts from the fireworks exploding a mile away. Works for me. Two minute walk home and not an hour of sitting in a traffic jam.
