This time the bride sent me a slide of her colour palette which made cutting a wide mix of colours for her day so much fun. I could work with the range of colours which made for a really interesting look. I loved working with this colour scheme and hope you enjoy this clip about what I cut and making the bouquets and buttonholes. It's always worth not being too over designed in advance because then I can be opportunistic with the best in the garden on the day. xxx

Re. your discussion about the light and the golden haze that seems to hover over the fields at this time of year: you're so obviously an artist! I've always loved the word "fecund" to describe this type of light. I think people would think of spring with this word, but to me this time of year is "pregnant" and ripe! Before I knew the word I thought of it as "feckoned", which I also like to describe this time of year. Absolutely superb video, discussion and flowers. Thank you ❤
