Looks beautiful Angela, this was something we use to do as kids during school holidays when we were young, I’m sure mum just wanted us to pick all the flowering weeds from the garden 😉 but it was lots of fun. We used either books or the oven on very low, we learnt that the hard way 😂 Thank you for sharing my dear friend 🤗❤️

I absolutely love this, Angela. I used to dry flowers in books for my card making years ago. I'm definitely going to try this in the microwave and use the slides in my cardmaking. Angela, you really seem to have a magical touch with flowers. I live in the country where there are lots of wildflowers...all colors. I'm going to try drying some. My mother pressed flowers in books when I was a little girl and I always thought it was a fascinating way to save flowers. Thank you so much for posting your wonderful tutorials. I always learn a lot, and I love your presentation style. Can I share a tip with you? When you cut for the window, take your awl and poke a small hole at each corner. This gives your blade a stopping spot and it also makes a much neater corner. I do this all the time now. Oh Angela, these are so lovely! I have dried some flowers in the microwave but your process seems a lot easier and you maintained the look of some great texture. And of course I would love to see how you created that beautiful card. I don’t know if you or anyone else has any advice for keeping the flowers fresh until you get them home. I’ve picked some on a walk through a park but it was a couple of hours until I got them home and they just didn’t do well.
